Journee with her team started walking towards the room that the nurse pointed towards. They saw a few other police officers.
"Kim! Ask them what they know, and which precinct has been sent to investigate the shooting case," ordered Journee and leaving Kimberly alone, they all moved forward. Kimberly stayed behind to get more information.
Journee abruptly stopped when she saw a woman dragging a man with her. She knew that woman. She knew that man. She could recognise that chest with the top three buttons of the shirt open, anywhere. She could recognise that woman with a smug face anywhere. What she didn't understand was why there was no toothpick in her mouth. She had never seen that woman without a toothpick in her mouth.
"What is she doing here?" Jack rolled his eyes.
