"Noelle! It's time for you to call," said Chris. He was sweating from every pore. He needed to know what happened to William. Did he cause him more pain?
"Okay, sir!" said Noelle and took out a burner phone from the drawer and looked up on the hospital's website to find their number. She dialled the number, hit the speaker and chimed in the phone, "Hello! Is this New York General Hospital?"
"Yes, ma'am. How may I help you? Do you need an appointment?" asked the nurse.
"No, I was looking for Dr David Carmichael. May I have his extension, please?" asked Noelle.
"May I know what this is regarding?" asked the nurse.
"See! I am the assistant of Commissioner William, and we need to give out a statement regarding his condition. So, we need an official statement from his doctor. As I know Journee, I know that she would take my Boss to him. Could I have his number or his extension?" Noelle kindly explained everything.
"May I know your name?" asked the nurse.
