Kay and William looked at her as if not sure what she meant.
"I think I told you already. They are staying with us till this matter dies down. And I don't think this is ever going to die down until we find Zachary. Either we arrest the whole Hall family right now, and they will be safe, or we wait for Zachary, then arrest the whole Hall family, and then they will definitely be safe. And we don't know when Zachary will come back. It can take days or weeks or months or maybe years," said William.
"Ye…a…r!" Journee somehow moved her mouth. Her knees gave in, and she plopped on the floor like a lifeless puppet. She kept staring at the vast emptiness before her eyes. She could not see any solution to her problem.
"Ugh! Drama queen!" Kay shook his head and started pushing everyone out of the hidden room.
"Come on! Get out!" shouted William, but Journee didn't move.
"Leave her!" said Kay, and everyone walked out, leaving Journee mumbling to herself.
