Such chaos. It was as if they could almost glimpse the future—the doom of their leaderless clans! And so, filled with such sorrow and desolation, some of the birds, having suddenly gained a glimmer of wisdom from this dramatic change, were immediately attracted to the plummeting bodies and blood of the kings below! They had to save themselves; a powerful new king had to emerge. Only then could they protect their clans and continue leading them to conquer the cities of the Human Race, until the day of their return!
Therefore, the birds, a spark of intelligence already glinting in their eyes, could no longer suppress their instincts. And then, they pounced downward! They wanted to catch up and feast on their king's flesh and blood. This was not only their instinct to snatch food but also their instinct to quickly ascend as new kings!
