Pharai
Getting five immortals and one very confused goddess out of Cairo without being noticed was, apparently, a logistical nightmare.
We were all standing in the living room an hour after Thoth dropped the maps on the table, and it felt like the air had gotten too small to fit all of our egos in it.
Horus was pacing. "We could just fly," he said, like it was the most obvious thing in the world. "God form. Straight to the Zagros. We'd be there by sunset."
Thoth, who was in the middle of trying to brush dust off his linen with zero success, stopped and stared at him like he'd suggested we rob a museum in broad daylight.
"Fly," he repeated slowly. "In god form. Across three countries. With the entire pantheon still looking for Ruthor. Yes, Horus. Brilliant. Why don't we also send out a press release while we're at it?"
Horus scowled. "I'm just saying it's faster."
