Gu Nian didn't see where Sanhu and Little Hu had gone.
Erhu was in the yard preparing materials for Lin Sanshui to weave grass shoes. Gu Nian walked over and asked, "Second Brother, isn't there a family in our village that raises sheep?"
She often saw flocks of sheep on the hillside, so she knew.
"Yes, Old Mr. Li in the village has raised about a dozen. Why are you asking?" Erhu kept working as he spoke.
"Do the sheep Old Mr. Li raises produce milk?" Gu Nian asked with her bright, sparkling eyes.
"I heard a while back that his sheep gave birth to two lambs." Erhu slowed down his work as he recalled, "By the way, why are you asking about this?"
"I want to get some sheep milk. Do you think Old Mr. Li will give me some?" Gu Nian was not very sure.
Erhu finally put down what he was working on, "Old Mr. Li is a pretty nice guy. If you bring him some fresh vegetables, he will probably give you some. But, what do you need it for?"
