Chapter 4 - Naomi

We go back to Xavier and we see that he's been up all night playing the game that he received on his first day of suspension, the game is on its last mission and he kills it then he orders for another game. The clever thing he does is that… Well why don't you hear his conversation? "Hey uhm.. So this game I bought a while back, It was running quite fine and then it isn't running anymore. I tried a couple ways to find out what the problem was and even switched my console out with a different one. I believe the problem is with the CD… You think you can exchange this for another one?" The place where he had called for the query of his game takes a pause and then agrees with his deal. "Of Course Sir, you don't have to worry about that, we'll handle it for you. Is there any other game that you want in exchange for that one?" Xavier replies, "Yes, tell me your options." The lady says, "Survival of the fittest 2 has co-" Xavier cuts the lady off and says in an excited tone, "YES, THAT ONE!" the lady replies, "Alright Sir, your game will arrive in a few days. Have a great day Sir!" Xavier happily says, "Thank you! You too". He finishes off the call and heads downstairs for breakfast, he swiftly eats it and waits for the bus to arrive, he grabs his phone and earphones and listens to music. "This kind of music hits the hardest, it's like I'm diving in a pool but that pool makes me dissolve." The school bus arrives and he leaves the house after giving his mother a hug and saying goodbye. He reaches the school and enters through the main gate… all eyes are on him as they recall what Xavier did to Kenny and everyone tries to keep a distance away from Xavier, he feels even more lonely at this point as he has become a walking bowl of attention that nobody likes anymore, he looks over to see Jayce not there for school. He feels devastated and proceeds to go to class. We skip class and go to lunch, a person approaches Xavier, "Hey man, I just wanted to say I'm happy that someone finally stood up to that bully and gave him a good beating, want to be friends?" Kelvin asked Xavier. A shocked but happy Xavier is seen, he replies, "I'm glad my strength mustered up when it did, and I don't see a reason for us not to be friends. I'm not sure though, the whole school hates me." A person tugs Xavier's hoodie from behind, he looks to see who it is and finds out it is a cute girl that is always quiet and sitting alone in the library usually reading a book or doing homework, "He's been bothering me too.." She says, Xavier replies, "It's better now at least, and you are?" She replies, "Oh, where are my manners? I'm Naomi from another class." "Nice to meet you, Naomi, how have things been since my absence?" "Not so well" Naomi replies, "The first week of you being gone was pretty normal but then a fight broke out between Jayce and Annie. The fight is still going on, I hope everything is well." The day continues and Xavier heads to class, "Class is in session kids, all of you sit down" the teacher exclaims. All the sinister looks are on Xavier as he nervously sits down, he notices that Annie and Kenny are not present in the class when the teacher takes the attendance. He doesn't get intrigued by it much and continues to keep the class going. The class is interrupted by a teacher from another class with Naomi; Naomi wants to transfer classes since her class has been proving troublesome for someone like her, Xavier's teacher asks the main reason and the teacher whispers, "They're being racist.." The teacher tightens up and gives Naomi a seat next to Xavier. He's quite startled by it and it stays on his mind, he can't help but notice Naomi's beautiful brunette locks, her cute face whenever she rests her glasses on her face and those freckled cheeks that they lie on a small nose and an adorable smile, but also quite an intellect; excelling at almost everything Xavier does. Class ends in a second and Xavier is in awe of Naomi's skills, Naomi catches Xavier looking at him and gives him a smile and invites him to eat lunch with her. They proceed to eat lunch and continue talking to each other. Frankly, they have a lot in common and Xavier has taken quite a liking to Naomi and describes this feeling as, "A weird weight on my chest that only forms when I'm near her." They end off school and promise to meet each other the next day, on his way home on the bus, Xavier can't stop thinking of Naomi and is starting to feel flustered because of her. He arrives home and gives his mother a wide hug and gives her the breaking news of what had happened at school, when he mentions Naomi, his mother giggles a little and Xavier is left confused, "What's up?" Xavier asks. "Oh nothing darling, please continue." The day ends with Xavier continuously talking to his mother about his exciting moments with Jayce and the days he had at school with him.
