Within a blink of an eye, Darzirak melts into the shadows and reappears from Amon's shadow. Within seconds the demon cuts all the cables holding Amon down.
" I was expecting something more than just being a pair of good scissors."
Darzirak barked as he leaned against the wall of the alleyway.
" I didn't expect to be tied down."
Amon grumbled as he spun his spear around his body and sweep two pirates off their feet.
" That's a demon! The guy summoned a demon! "
The last guy excitedly blurted as he pulled out his blade and blocked Amon's spear lunge.
" Why you so excited?"
Darzirak stretch out his paws, pulling the pail of water to the side as Amon backed up to have enough space to do a flip. The last guy was sent flying thanks to Amon's hard kick to the chest.
" Maybe demons are rare?"
Amon huffed with a quick turn when he noticed the other two pirates back on their feet. Amon quickly fixed his stance ready to attack....
[ I scribbled before looking back at the orb on my desk just to noticed that's it's frozen.
" Weird... Is it broken?"
I wondered as I picked up the Orb, tapping the glass as I moved it around but still nothing.
" Ghast, my orb is frozen."
I called out as I stood up, my eyes still studying the orb, trying to spot for crack or any other signs of damage but there was nothing. The orb was perfectly fine and yet it was frozen.
" Ghast."
I called out as I finally my gaze fell in the cubical next to mine, that was separated by a short wall. The more experienced fate recorder sat there staring at his book of fate, his hand not even writing.
" Ghast?"
I leaned over and touched him but he still didn't move, he was in a frozen state as well. It was then I noticed how silent the whole office was, there was no scratches of quills against paper, a sound that constantly haunted the office.
'Don't tell me... The whole office is in the same frozen state..."
I gluped as I glanced across the office just to confirm my worries.
"Ok... Don't panic... "
I breathe as I placed my work next to Ghast along with a note informing that I was stepping out for a moment.
" Surely the boss would know what's going on."
I tried to reassure myself as I leave my cubical. My unsure steps echoes throughout the eerie silence office, my gaze drifting from coworker to coworker as my uncomfortable feeling grew. The more it grew, the faster my steps became to the point my speed walk turned into a sprint down the aisle and busted open the door to my boss's office. No longer caring about what I see nor the repercussions, even if I would come to regret it later, this wasn't the time for anything less than action.
"BOSS!"
I yelled just to see my boss was frozen as well. His lover was sitting at his desk showing a document to him. While boss stood next to his lover hunching over with a smile and a mug of coffee, pay attention as his lover said something.
" So glad that you two weren't in the middle of other things but I would definitely have preferred you two not being frozen and yelling. "
I whined as I grabbed a blank piece of paper, wrote a note to inform that time had stopped and that I was going to check on my brother, Mirauleo.
" Hopefully he would have some answers... Or could this be a more powerful entity freezing all time except mine?... I REALLY HOPE NOT!"
I worried for a moment not wanting to be all alone in a frozen world against a more powerful unknown entity. I soon calmed myself and then switch my note with the document the boss's lover was holding up.
"There! Now the second time moves, he would have read my message."
I nodded placed the document on the table and left in a hurry.
" Without wings I won't be able to get to the moon but the world is frozen... Does that mean gravity is frozen too? "
I wondered as I leaped just to find myself landing back onto the ground.
" Ah so space isn't frozen but time is."
I took noted as I exited my work place and walked right into a shoe store. With much haste I grabbed a random pair of winged shoes that could fit me, left some money on the counter in front of the cashier and started to pump my magic into them.
" With my magic in it, it counts as part of me and therefore should work... Probably."
I guessed as I tested the shoes out just to confirm that it does work and that I had zero idea how to control them enough to keep myself balance.
" Ow!"
I groaned as I fell flat on my ass shortly after trying to fly.
" Well this sucks."
I grumbled as I dusted my hands and slowly got back up.
I could call my pixe helpers to send me a ride but if they are frozen in time as well then... I'll worry about that later and check my options.
I thought as I dusted my clothes and started making a snowflake message with my magic.
" Lord Metztli!! Thank goodness I found you!"
A voice shaking in desperation and relief drew my attention to the sky just to noticed a male light fairy flying towards me.
" Oh! Wonderful! The time stop didn't effect you! What happened? How's Leo?"
I questioned as I approached him and cancelled my spell. The fairy landed next to me, completely out of breath.
" Lord... Mirauleo... *Panting* just ... shot through the enternity time glass and flew off."
He huffed out within one breath before taking his time to catch his breath.
" Flew through the enternity glass? "
A jolt of shock immediately shot through me before changing to horrible fear and I quickly scanned the area just to confirm my brother wasn't nearby.
" What got him that angry?! He isn't angry at me right? .... Well seeing that you came before him even though he left first and is faster than you, then it's definitely not at me. Pity the poor fellow who pissed Leo off. "
I grimaced at the memory of his bad temper as I rubbed the back of my neck.
" Lord Metztli, I beg of you to help us. We need you to temporarily fix the enternity glass so that we can get time moving again."
The fairy begged with a 90 degree bow. I panicked as I try to stop him from bowing but he wouldn't budge.
" Come come now! There's no need to be so formal. The most important is getting time moving before space expands and disrupt the balance. I'll help in every way I can."
I quickly agreed with a nodded head and the fairy finally stopped bowing.
" Great then! We must hurry, there's too much space to conserve."
The fairy grabbed my hand and flew. Thanks to his support I was able to control my winged shoes and we flew as quickly as we could to the moon. The poor fairy was out of breath the whole way but that didn't stop him from flapping his wings as quickly as he could as he dragged me.
As we drew closer to the moon, I could barely even see it. It looked like a huge storm cloud from afar rather than a circular moon.
" Did all the dust spread out?"
I awkwardly phrase the question as I tried to comprehend the full damage of the enternity glass.
" Lord Mirauleo shot through the middle of the enternity glass. * Takes in breath* But because of his speed almost all the dust was dragged out behind him. * Take in breath* which makes it even more difficult to find all the broken glass pieces to fix it."
He blurted out his answer in three breaths and started looking extremely light headed. I decided to keep to myself instead of pushing the extremely out of breath fairy for more information. The poor fellow look like he might pass out very soon with his breath that irregular.
The enternity glass was made out of the thin layer skin and the blood of the world before it dried and hardened. For my brother Leo to break through that... He must be in tremendous pain, to him that was probably breaking through a shield made out of bone. For him to break through two layers of that... I'm surprised that he's still flying and not harrowing in agony on the ground.
He definitely didn't become any muscular since the last I saw him. His healing capacity isn't extraordinary either... In fact comparing to myself and Mop (Morpheus) he wins last place. That guy seriously goes blank when he sees red. I better find him and help him. Hopefully he is less angry by then. ]
