Her eyes crinkled as she giggly swiped her phone while lying on the bed.
"Sis, sis, sis. Aren't you full of surprises?" Ruby's grin was wide, thinking about her sister and also spotting the number that she wanted.
"I can't sleep without tattling. Let this dear younger sister tell the parents of such good news!" a grin was on her face as she imagined how her parents would react upon learning such news.
Without any further delay, she hurriedly dialed her mother's phone and after several rings, Ma Perry's voice sounded, [Dear!]
A smile blossomed on her face upon hearing her mother's beautiful voice.
"Mom. How was your day today? Busy?" she asked coyly, a hint of playfulness in her tone.
[Hehe, the day was great though a bit busy. The renovations are nearly done. Starting next month should be opening.]
Ruby's eyes brightened when she heard that.
"Really? That's good news, Mom! I guess that when we come to that side, we can hang around the restaurant for a bit!"
