The 'Safety Zone' is the most impressive humanitarian achievement the United Nations has had in recent years.
Current statistics show that nearly 120,000 people displaced by war have gathered in the Safety Zone.
The most miraculous thing is that the United Nations did not spend much money at all, but rather provided a name. Everyone thought the funds raised by Princess Amina could not support for long, yet in the end, people realized that P·B didn't just provide for the refugees for nothing, but had them all go to work.
And then the funding issue of the Safety Zone seemed to vanish...
'Not idling', is the core essence of P·B's approach to handling refugees; if there isn't work available for you, they'll at least give you a broom to sweep the streets.
Unless physically disabled, lying around and waiting for relief is not an option here.
