My mind went completely blank at the Queen's words. What I knew was just, I didn't wanted to marry such a Person. I was afraid that she will kill me if I don't agree with her. Then The Queen herself said " I promise you that I will hear out your decision with patience". She said that maybe because she felt that I m scared of her.
Still, the words confronted me a little, so I gathered all my courage and said " Your highness, I do not wish to marry The Prince, please forgive me!! "
I thought I m so done now, but the Queen laughed, and said " I know, you are saying that, because you don't know Our Prince". I was surprised by her reaction. Still, I remained silent, and she continued, " Relax My dear, It's ok if that's your decision, But you need to stay with me for sometime. Here, in the Royal Palace. "
And The Queen's words shocked me again. After The Queen's decision, I didn't got a chance to say anything more. I was taken into a huge room, where I will be staying for "sometime". I didn't knew how long was this "sometime" for.
The room was nicely decorated. It had a huge bed, which I saw from far only. It was so big, in which even my home could fix in. It was all very luxurious, but I wasn't happy. The Queen, who didn't heard out Her Grandson's words, why would she listen to a poor girl like me?
I was missing my parents a lot at that time.
They left me alone in this world. I didn't had any siblings. Just like everyone, I had my parents too, a normal life like everyone. I belonged to a poor family, but we were very happy. Until one day, after buying the groceries from the shop, I was returning to my home. I was so happy, because that day my dad was going to cook for my mom and me.
When I was near my home, I could smell the smoke everywhere. I thought Maybe something was burning, then I saw my own home burning with my own eyes!! The grocery bag fell from my hand with a lot of tears, I couldn't stand there anymore, and I rushed to see my parents, who were inside the home. But I was stopped by some nearby people. I was crying and yelling, but they didn't let me go in.
