Lucy sat down next to Edward with a cold smile and said quietly, "More than just know each other. We've known each other for years, since college until now. We're very familiar with one another, know each other inside out, right? Na—ra—"
Turning to Edward, she continued, "How did you introduce her to me? Your adoptive father's biological daughter?"
Nora remained standing, her mind racing as she tried to piece together a complete story to deceive Lucy.
Edward noticed Nora's odd behavior, but since there was no evidence to prove she wasn't his adoptive father's biological daughter, he nodded and confirmed, yes.
Lucy chuckled again, "Are you sure? Did you do a DNA test?"
Nora hadn't thought of a reason yet, and hearing Lucy's questioning tone, she retorted immediately, "Lucy, what do you mean by this? Are you saying I'm deceiving the Lynwood family?"
