Christopher Moore originally didn't want to come out. Hanging out and drinking with the guys didn't seem as appealing as staying at home with his wife.
But, Harlon insisted there was a good show, and worried he wouldn't come, even called Ruby Mercer.
Ruby glanced at the caller ID showing Harlon's name, "Your buddy! Is he looking for you?"
Christopher Moore's face froze, immediately thinking of some lewd things!
The word "buddy" was quite sensitive!
Christopher cleared his throat awkwardly, "Probably looking for you for something!"
Ruby, not suspecting anything, answered, "Harlon!"
At this point, Harlon began chatting about Julian Shepley's new gossip with his silver tongue.
"Sis-in-law, come over, there's a good show!"
Ruby raised an eyebrow at Christopher Moore, "What good show? Whose is it?"
After asking, Ruby suddenly felt she was being too nosy!
Harlon, "Come over, let me introduce you, it's Julian Shepley's!"
Ruby, "Ella King?"
