Ruby Mercer smiled and pushed the check over, casually taking out the check holder from her bag and signing her name with a flourish.
"I'm more generous than you; I'll pay a billion to buy Christopher Moore!"
Seeing Neil Moore's dark face, she casually slapped down three bank cards, "If that's not enough, I can add more!"
Neil Moore angrily pounded the table, "Outrageous!"
His pounding drew everyone's attention in the shop!
Ruby Mercer chuckled, picked up her check and bank cards, and pushed Neil Moore's check back to him.
"Mr. Moore, don't be so excited. You break up lovebirds without a word, why are you so angry!"
Neil Moore pounded the table again, "Your status as a twice-married woman doesn't match my son!"
Just as Neil Moore was preparing to continue cursing her, Ruby Mercer's phone rang.
Neil Moore saw "Mr. Moore" on the display and knew it was his son!
His expression changed, and he sternly ordered:
"Don't answer!"
