It happened suddenly. Everything was dark. Rune felt heavy yet light at the same time as if he were floating. But there was also a sense of dread he couldn't shake.
He couldn't see, or hear, or feel, but Rune knew he needed to get up. He had to get up. He pushed and pushed. He wanted scream in determinations but he had no voice.
A sense of urgency was pushing him. He was going to lose it. Rune wasn't sure what it was that he was about to lose but he knew he had to stop it at all costs. It was then, as he continued to struggle in vain, that Rune saw a light.
It grew brighter and brighter, and then images began to flash in front of him, as if being played on a hazy projector. He saw a young Miriam, and began to experience everything she felt vividly as if those experiences were his own.
