Miriam's heart was a flutter. Maybe it was because of the kiss she shared with her darling. Then again, they had done much more than just kissing back during her last visit to Veronica.

Sadly she couldn't stay. There was a pesky snake threating her darling and trying to tear them apart. And anyone that messed with her darling...deserved to die.
'Sorry, Darling. I want to stay with you too but I don't think you are ready to face an enemy like this quite yet.'
In honestly, Miriam wasn't sure if she was capable of winning either. But that did not matter to her. She had all the motivation she needed. There was no way she could possibly lose with the one she loved watching.
