"I..."
Tomb Ghost clutched his head, his voice hoarse as he said, "I don't know why either, but I remember these... that 'equation', those codes, and the ancient texts... It's as if they're etched into my blood; I can't forget them, nor can I control them."
"I'm sorry... I'm sorry..."
Tomb Ghost leaned against the wall, his tone weakened by a third.
He came to find Gu Shen with many questions in mind, but from the first exchange, he knew he was wrong. How could he possibly be a match for Gu Shen? This guy didn't play by the rules at all. Now his mind was a tangled mess, completely passive.
Gu Shen sighed softly.
Looking at the unfortunate fellow, his gaze softened considerably. "Alright, I forgive you... Is there anything else?"
"..."
"If there's nothing else, go back and have a good rest. Remember to continue 'unpacking' the ancient texts I gave you, I'll check on it in a couple of days." Gu Shen turned and waved his hand.
