Four Dukes of the North Continent.
Duke Zhuxue, Duke Zhen Yue, Duke Duanyang, Duke Xiang Chen.
These four were personally enfeoffed by His Majesty, enjoying the highest status among the nobility of the North Continent. Except for Duke Duanyang, the other three have their own "fiefdoms."
Duke Zhen Yue was commissioned to garrison the western flank of the North Continent. The "ducal position" is hereditary, with Zhuxue and Duanyang both surnamed Lin, making them part of the North Continent's "imperial family" and relatives, but Duke Zhen Yue is different.
Under the title of Zhen Yue, the surname is not Lin, but Meng.
This title is a testament to the long-term friendship between the North Continent and the West Continent, or one might say a "guarantee."
