Agunas naturally didn't want to sit here and wait for the results to appear, but unfortunately, all of them combined were no match for Feng Yuan. That guy was dead set on helping Wade, and there was really nothing they could do about it.
Even when trying to persuade him, that guy was completely unyielding and ignored them. Regardless of Agunas' attempts to persuade, Feng Yuan wouldn't buy it. Besides, he wasn't afraid of Wade and the others causing some calamity that couldn't be contained.
Wade and Zheranick had only one goal, which was to allow Beastmasters and their Beasts to live long lives, at least to the point where both sides could achieve a certain longevity. However, that didn't mean they ignored everything else.
Longevity was just the ultimate goal, but they didn't entirely overlook the process of achieving longevity. If the world was destroyed, then longevity would lose its meaning.
