Double Leaf waved her little hand with a mischievous smile, watching the despondent Diana leave the lab. Clearly, she had achieved her sinister objective.
Of course, calling it 'sinister' was a bit much, as it was essentially just a prank. Rather than spying on Diana cuddling with that Frank guy, Double Leaf actually found more enjoyment in teasing her~
But she's definitely going to watch!
"This silly woman! If left alone, I always feel she'd get tricked out of even her underwear."
Double Leaf lay back on the mat and grinned, popping a piece of fruit into her mouth with a satisfied look on her face.
She didn't think she would lose, not because of her subjective belief of 'the same @#￥% from Black Sun is likely plotting something dirty to take me down,' but simply because she felt she wouldn't lose this bet.
Even if Diana's point of view was correct, Double Leaf had a hundred ways to make her think she was wrong and that she was right.
