Under his control, a magnificent and towering pyramid rose straight from the ground, standing before the eyes of all.
Faced with a scene that looked nothing short of a divine miracle, the Four Horsemen of Apocalypse all wore complex, unreadable expressions.
Outside the light screen, Natasha sighed with emotion.
"So this is how the pyramids were built in this world."
Bruce Banner's face was filled with a scientist's curiosity and thirst for knowledge.
"How exactly do mutant abilities work? Do they require a medium at all? Or is the medium something people usually overlook—like air, or some kind of microorganism?"
Tony Stark shook his head.
"Honestly, Bruce, there are many things in this world that can't be explained by our current scientific understanding. I don't know much about the mutant world, but in my world, magic is very real. So a lot of things simply have nothing to do with science—they fall squarely into the realm of magic."
Homelander stared wide-eyed and murmured,
"Magic… yes, exactly. This is like magic that creates something from nothing—creating everything out of thin air. Power like this…"
He had once believed himself to be truly invincible, a genuine god among men. But after the arrival of the quiz game, Homelander finally understood what it meant to be a frog at the bottom of a well.
Not to mention the Superman who had beaten him senseless—just looking at the futures revealed by the quiz game alone: the artificial intelligence Ultron, Doctor Strange who could create pocket universes, Professor X, Magneto, and… Apocalypse.
Every single one of them shattered his worldview, showing him that there was always a greater mountain beyond the one you stood on, and always someone stronger beyond yourself.
At the same time, this ignited an intense interest in the quiz game within Homelander, and his competitive spirit surged once more.
Whether it was Ultron or Apocalypse, neither seemed truly unbeatable in the face of the quiz game.
In other words—if he could become the winner, perhaps he too might gain such terrifying power.
"I must win. I will win," Homelander's eyes burned with fanatic determination.
Nearby, Erik couldn't read minds, but judging from Homelander's expression, he could easily guess what the man was thinking.
He spoke indifferently,
"You know, Homelander, I want to win even more than you do—and there's only one winner this time."
Homelander flashed his signature friendly smile.
"That's fine. Let's compete fairly."

Back in the future footage, Apocalypse reconstructed a magnificent wonder in just a few minutes. Judging by how effortlessly he did it, the feat seemed trivial to him.
He turned to Magneto and forged a special helmet, placing it in his hands as he spoke solemnly:
"A gift—from the past you have already laid to rest, and from the future that lies ahead. Continue your exploration, my child. You will reach into the depths of the Earth, destroy everything they take pride in, and cleanse this world completely. Then, we shall lead the survivors and build a better world!"
Watching from the side, Charles Xavier couldn't help but ask, unwilling to remain silent,
"And what about me? Do I have a role in this farce?"
He was not intimidated by the power Apocalypse displayed. Even though he could no longer stand, and his once-reliable telepathy was nearly useless, he still resisted defiantly.
Apocalypse was not angered by the provocation. Instead, he curved his lips into a meaningful smile.
"Your role is the most important of all."
Moments later, Magneto put on the helmet and rose into the air above the city.
Seeing this, Tony Stark raised an eyebrow in the Eternal Space.
"Tsk—you still ended up wearing that helmet. Honestly, I think Apocalypse has terrible taste. That thing is ugly. How could he even give it as a gift?"
Erik Lehnsherr glanced at him calmly.
"I don't think the helmet looks bad. And even if it does, it's effective."
After gaining Haki through the quiz game—specifically Observation Haki—Erik already had some resistance against Professor X's telepathic intrusions. With the helmet, it became even easier.
Magneto was a pragmatist. As long as something worked, he didn't care how ugly it looked.
And clearly, Magneto was also a man of spectacle. In the footage, Erik Lehnsherr once again began orchestrating a grand display.
Under Apocalypse's guidance, he gradually grasped the power of Earth's magnetic field itself.
This was far more exhilarating than merely tossing steel frameworks or stadiums around—this was taking the entire planet into his hands.
As he grew more adept, the Earth's magnetic field began to shift. Disasters erupted across the globe.
Reinforced concrete buildings were dismantled in massive swathes. Ships in the ocean were lifted into the sky. Cargo containers at ports danced wildly through the air.
Based on these sudden magnetic anomalies, scientists reached a horrifying conclusion:
"…In the end, all our cities—our metropolises, everything built since the Bronze Age—will be completely destroyed. The death toll will reach into the hundreds of millions."
Outside the light screen, players and viewers alike were stunned.
They had seen Magneto's future footage before and knew he was powerful—but at most, they had imagined him controlling metal.
Now, they were witnessing Erik Lehnsherr controlling the very Earth humanity depended on to survive.
"My God!" Bruce Banner exclaimed in shock.
"He's going to knock humanity out of modern civilization and send us back to the Stone Age! That's even more unbelievable than an AI destroying the multiverse!"
Tony Stark also stared at Erik in astonishment.
"Erik, I always knew you were strong—but I never imagined you could be this strong."
Erik Lehnsherr shrugged.
"Honestly, I can hardly believe it myself."
He wasn't being modest. If his present self tried to replicate what his future self did in the footage, he absolutely couldn't do it—certainly not with such ease.
In the future shown, Magneto achieved this world-ending feat at a terrible cost.
Apocalypse hadn't directly enhanced him—he merely showed him the path. Erik drew power from the agony of losing his home and family, and only then was he able to carry out such apocalyptic destruction.
In the footage, Cairo truly had terrible luck.
First, it was reshaped by Apocalypse, gaining a massive monument out of nowhere. Then it was ravaged by Magneto—the strongest "demolition expert" in history—until the city was nearly leveled.
Apocalypse built his palace within the pyramid, complete with statues of himself and the Four Horsemen.
His own statue sat high upon the throne.
And upon closer inspection, one could see that the statue's face bore an uncanny resemblance to Professor Charles Xavier.
