Chapter 801 - Chapter 800: The Goddess of Thunder’s Shining Moment

Thor had once hoped to lead a mighty team into battle against Gorr the God Butcher. But in the end, the only ones charging by his side were a bunch of young, wide-eyed Asgardian children.

Their enemies? Twisted, terrifying shadow monsters. Against such horrors, Thor's "army" looked laughably absurd.

And yet, once the fighting began, the tide turned unexpectedly. The kids, bolstered by the God of Thunder's power, fought valiantly. They weren't just brave — they actually knew how to protect themselves, thanks to Thor.

That gave Thor the peace of mind to leave them and face Gorr one-on-one.

Ironically, while the kids held their own, their so-called leader did not.

Gorr easily overpowered him, disarmed him, and even stole Zeus's Thunderbolt. What followed was a brutal, one-sided beatdown...

Meanwhile on Earth, Jane Foster jolted awake from a deep sleep. Something inside her sensed that Thor was in danger. And right then, Mjölnir floated silently to her bedside. She stared at the hammer, wide-eyed and frozen.

Cut back to Thor — things were going badly. Gorr had him pinned down, hammering blows into him. As the Necrosword plunged down toward his chest, Thor barely managed to catch the blade between his palms — one second slower and it would've impaled him.

Gods don't die easily, but the Necrosword wasn't ordinary. It could kill gods. Permanently.

Thor was in worse shape now than he had been even against Thanos. His strength was failing. Just as the final blow seemed imminent, Mjölnir came screaming through the air and slammed into Gorr, launching him away from Thor.

The kids erupted into cheers. But Thor didn't share their relief. He looked up, eyes widening.

Jane Foster had arrived — riding in on a gleaming white pegasus, leaping gracefully to the ground.

She'd come.

If before she'd fought at his side to give her life meaning, now it was purely out of love.

Their eyes met. No words needed. She was here — that was all that mattered. Thor didn't waste time trying to convince her to turn back. Gorr still had to be stopped.

Off-screen, Deadpool chuckled. "Daaamn, damsel saves the dude! Thor, buddy, I gotta say — you've got taste. She's a total badass."

Thor gave him a side-eye. "You know, that might be the first coherent thing you've said since you got here."

Deadpool spread his hands innocently. "What can I say? I just tell it like it is. Face it, man — you walked right into Gorr's trap. You weren't even close to beating him. If it weren't for your girl showing up, you'd be shish kebab right now."

Stephen chimed in, nodding. "I agree. Thor, let's be honest — you didn't exactly shine in this future video. You were at your best when you fought Zeus. After that… not so much."

Thor snorted, clearly annoyed. "Watch. I will stop Gorr. I will defeat him."

Billy Butcher scoffed. "Oi, did you even watch the rest of the clip? You didn't stop him, mate. Gorr made it to Eternity in the end."

Back to the screen — with Jane now at his side, Thor was no longer fighting alone. Together, they began to turn the tide, pushing back Gorr.

While Jane kept Gorr busy, Thor rushed to free Stormbreaker.

The axe was locked in place in front of the Gate of Eternity, tendrils and claws made of shadow wrapping around it, channeling energy to open the portal. Thor raised the Thunderbolt and cleaved through the shadowy restraints. The rainbow energy stopped flowing. He'd freed Stormbreaker.

"Get them out of here!" he shouted, tossing Stormbreaker to Heimdall's son.

The boy, who carried godly power himself, quickly gathered the children. With Stormbreaker in hand, he summoned the Bifrost and teleported them all away to safety — axe included.

Thor and Jane exhaled, relieved. But the Necrosword was still in Gorr's hands.

Jane wasn't a match for Gorr in a direct fight. She was injured, knocked hard into the distance.

Thor leapt into action, lashing the Necrosword with lightning from the Thunderbolt. He glanced toward Jane, giving her a look.

She understood.

Summoning her remaining strength, she hurled Mjölnir at the sword.

Thor locked it in place with all his might, and the hammer struck true — smashing the Necrosword to pieces.

The force of the clash sent Gorr flying. But as he tumbled across the battlefield, he didn't panic. He simply reached out and grabbed the broken hilt — the sword could regenerate with a thought.

But Jane wasn't finished yet.

She called Mjölnir back — but not whole. The shattered pieces spun in midair, absorbing the shards of the Necrosword as they returned to her hand. The fragments were sealed inside the hammer as it reformed.

Still not enough.

Jane let out a cry, raising Mjölnir high. Lightning surged around her, crackling through the weapon. She slammed it down, unleashing a burst of energy that spread like a spiderweb through the ground.

The hilt in Gorr's hand disintegrated into ash.

The evil sword was finally, truly destroyed.

"Jane!"

Thor didn't celebrate. He rushed toward her, seeing how pale and exhausted she was. She could barely stay upright on one knee.

The final attack had drained every last ounce of strength from her.

Thor reached out to catch her, fear in his eyes.

But Jane shook her head. "I'm fine," she gasped. "Go — stop him!"

While they spoke, the Gate of Eternity had opened.

Apparently, Stormbreaker's earlier channeling had been enough. Gorr was stumbling through the glowing portal.

In the blink of an eye, the world shifted. The temple vanished, replaced by a serene lake, its shallow waters rippling around their ankles.

To many watching the video — especially those who had seen the future battle with Thanos — this place felt eerily familiar.

Back then, Thanos had found the Soul Stone in a similar lake of silence.
