"You're not in time!"

"AGAIN!"

Anyways I might've just accidentally auditioned for a famous K-pop company for fun and actually got in. But before I tell you how I did let me tell you how it all happened...

So what is Korea like?

When I first came, I decided not to go to an international school but go to an arts school, my Korean may be fluent but my accent was terribly noticeable. So when I first introduced myself I made several mistakes and I became a laughing stock.

At first, people warmed up to me when they found out I was a 'foreigner' even though I was also Korean. Many people talked about me because I was very tanned so I stuck out like a sore thumb and people would make racist jokes that honestly shocked me. Because it was so normalised. Of course, I focused on my lessons more and probably the only part I found fun.

But as time when on things just got worse... and this is mainly because of my attitude. I'll show you an example.

"Hey, lend me your notes." This random girl with blonde streaks in her hair said to me.

"Sorry, but I borrowed it -" I replied as politely as I could.

"It doesn't matter, hurry up." She said in a rude tone.

So I flatly rejected her before walking away.

So then she started to make fun of me.

"Eunseo your skin is so light what cream did you use.. did you lose weight you look thinner." She said randomly in front of me to another girl while giving me a side-eye.

Then she came to me..(like the audacity) and directly insulted me.

"Hey you are so dark skinned... and I think you should lose weight, I can recommend you some creams and workouts.."

She smiled (a very ugly one at that).

So I said,

"You have so many pimples on your face, I'm afraid if I use the cream you recommend me... my face will end up like yours.." I snickered.

The whole class went silent as I said it loudly on purpose, she just walked away. But after that, she tried her best to sabotage me. By framing me for lost things (good thing I'm not a thief and she is), the girl would shove me expecting my food to fall or something, like this, was not a drama. I just simply avoided it and she looked stupid.

And one day a girl came up to me saying I should be careful as she was severely bullied by the girl that started to pick on me. And she told me about the stuff she did to her and I was shocked.

So I decided to do something about it...

This girl's name was Lee Jihye and she aspired to be an idol (though my girl had a very mediocre talent for it), and basically, there was an open casting in a famous entertainment company.

That me I of course knew!

It had one of my fav groups The Runaway GIRLS! So you see, Lee Jihye is popular online for her very fake visuals and fake online personality, her pictures are fake too (based on filters) and her mediocre singing AND dancing skills.

Of course, she was nothing in comparison to me, I had my insta profile for being @kpopAddict

which had 7m followers in comparison to her mere 80k followers. I was known for being your trusty K-pop info collector and editor. I was famous it was my secret account that not even my parents or my besties knew about it.

So on August 4th, I decided to go to LiveX, 1 of the top 3 entertainment companies, I went inside to the waiting area to see everyone was inside. I of course knew that already having an online presence or having a name online already would get you a lot more points. So I already knew the song Lee Jihye was doing she was a hardcore ViXX stan. I saw she had been practising this song for months (because it was obviously above her level).

Of course, I added elements to my dance to make it look harder. Of course, I wasn't allowed to do the same song so I did a remix. I wasn't really a dancer, I never really learnt dances but I found it easier than others to do the choreography. I learnt it within 30min, and of course, I added extra moves. I surprised myself I guess the talent in my name meant something
