BlackOut chuckled in amusement, facepalming, saying: "To think I would resurrect someone else in this timeline.. It's ridiculous to me, but I love it." - She then looked at Vylvia - "So, Alexander told me his past, and naturally mentioned you, and some sort of mark. I'm curious about the effects of the mark, and what it symbolizes."
Vylvia crossed her arms and started rambling: "Well, I shall repeat the speech I said to Alexander 500 years ago.. But I shall also show you the mark by putting it on you."
"Wha- On me?!" - BlackOut smiled nervously.
"Relax, I can lift the curse with a word." - Vylvia placed the mark on BlackOut's chest, and stood behind her, looking at her - "Now, if I were to keep you as my property, because of that mark, you'd have to do as I say, where and when I please. Your life would forever be bound to me.. You know what that means, right?~"
"If you died, I'd wind up dead, and vice versa." - BlackOut looked at the curse mark on her chest.
"Sounds to me that you are smarter than him when it comes to your studies." - Vylvia smirked.
"I have to be prepared, even though I'm reckless at times, I need to know what I will summon and be well educated." - BlackOut smiled at Vylvia.
"Draining kiss." - Vylvia removed the curse mark, kissing BlackOut's lips to successfully remove the curse mark.
BlackOut let go and blushed slightly, chuckling: "God damn, at least ask me out first!"
Vylvia scoffed, smiling, saying: "Too late for that now, ain't it?"
"Would you like to go search for Alexander?"
"I thought you'd never ask." - She gave BlackOut a devilish grin and BlackOut smirked, flying out of her lab with Vylvia.
*Meanwhile, at Redsity Academy*
"Aaron, you go with Luna to revive Lucas, I will need to get someone as well. I've called the siblings to help you out." - Nicholas informed, going with Pandora back in the Academy, to the lower floors.
Nicholas then reached the storage of spell books and old bedrooms. Pandora looked around, and said: "It's been a while since we've last been down here.."
"My plan here is to bring my uncle to the surface of the Academy again, he's been living here for a while since he didn't quite want to disturb anyone. If BlackOut is affected by Phoenix and then sees Lucas, both Evanora and BlackOut will shock with each other, making them.. Fuse. I could bring back my sister."
"Nick, that's too dangerous, you know what that woman is capable of!" - Pandora's eyes turned crimson red.
"What other option do we have, Pandora?" - Nick turned to her.
"BlackOut?" - Phoenix appeared between them, walking from the darkness.
"GODS ABOVE- I didn't know you were right there." - Nicholas backed away, with a hand on his chest.
"Apologies, Nicholas, what do you need?" - Phoenix asked.
"I need your help, BlackOut is out there and has resurrected the God of Werewolves, and we don't know what else she will do if she's left alive. Evanora and BlackOut share a body because of some disease she might have, BlackOut being the result of that disease.." - Nicholas looked away.
"...Alright, let's go upstairs, I don't want that troublemaker to do any more things that might cause destruction to our school." - Phoenix grabbed his spell book and put on his hat, walking up the stairs, with his nephew and respective wife following behind him.
Phoenix then walked into the campus and saw Luna along with Aaron, finishing a spell, while Fyriana and Lynx provided energy. He stood behind them, a bit far, until they finished. Aaron collapsed to the floor, Luna got on her knees and started breathing heavily.
Phoenix smiled slightly, and walked forward to see the outcome, and then saw him. Lucas. His eyes widened and he looked at everyone around him, saying: "...Good job, Fyriana and Lynx. And amazing work, Nicholas's daughter, and Aaron Lycan."
Fyriana regained her composure and got up with Lynx, saying: "Former principal Phoenix! What are you doing here if it's okay for me to ask?"
"...Nicholas needed my help. I have a feeling that I'm BlackOut's target in all of this." - Phoenix looked into the distance, wearing a serious expression on his face.
"How so?" - Lynx asked Phoenix, with a puzzled expression.
"I expelled her, once Lucas passed. She was responsible for his death. I wasn't exactly in the right because I left her in the city, without shelter and no parental figure."
Lucas regained consciousness and held his head, saying: "Ow.. What happened? Where… Where am I?"
"Oh, he's awake. Welcome, Lucas." - Phoenix turned to Lucas while Nicholas helped Luna stand up.
Pandora slapped Aaron's cheek lightly to wake him up, saying: "Aaron, wake up. You succeeded."
Aaron regained his consciousness and looked to his left, seeing Lucas, he didn't show emotion as he was still processing the fact that he just woke up from fainting. He looked at Lucas and then bolted upwards, saying: "I DID IT, OH MY GOD- LUCAS?!"
"Calm down, you'll startle him." - Nicholas and Phoenix said in unison.
"Right- Wait what?" - He turned around and saw Phoenix - "Who's that, Nick?"
"My uncle. The former principal of this Academy." - Nicholas informed.
"Phoenix LightSky, pleased to meet you." - He bowed in respect.
Aaron nervously bowed in respect, and smiled. Luna looked at Phoenix and glared at him. Something told her he was trouble.
Luna's left eye suddenly flashed purple as she glared at Phoenix, and she smirked. Her eye went back to normal and she held her head, almost losing her balance, saying: "Oh no- Oh no no no no no.."
"What is it?" - Nicholas asked.
"She's coming." - Luna looked worried at Lucas and Phoenix.
Nicholas nodded and looked at Aaron, ordering: "Aaron, protect Lucas at all costs, uncle Phoenix, we'll take care of her. Pandora, honey, make sure Luna doesn't go out of control."
BlackOut teleported behind Phoenix and smiled, saying: "It's great to meet you again.. "Uncle Phoenix"."
Pandora held Luna close to her and Nicholas cast a spell to keep Lucas invisible. Phoenix turned around and looked at BlackOut, saying: "I see. So you turned into a bigger nuisance than before."
BlackOut scoffed and grabbed his collar, saying: "You're gonna wish you never fucking did that to Evanora. Better yet.." - She filled her hand with corruption, her right eye turning completely white, and her left sclera turning black, with her left eye still purple - "You're gonna wish you'd never been FUCKING BORN." - BlackOut laughed maniacally, and blasted Phoenix away from her, while purple flames surrounded her body, walking towards him.
Phoenix used a shield to protect him but the corruption just seemed to slip through it, affecting his chest. He closed one of his eyes, and got up, glaring at her, saying: "Dark magic.. Of course.."
BlackOut started transforming into a humanoid monster, with purple fumes coming out of her body, as she walked towards Phoenix, her grin sent shivers down Phoenix's back.
Phoenix backed away slightly, and Lynx used his powers to create ice chains to keep her restrained, while holding the chains, while Nicholas stood in front of Phoenix, saying: "BlackOut, stop this madness."
"Heh.. Hehe.. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!" - BlackOut started walking closer to Phoenix slowly, despite being chained by Lynx, resulting in his feet being dragged by her.
She broke the chains and pressed her claws on Phoenix's chest, forcing more corruption to flow through his body, which slowly tore apart his insides while her expression was psychotic. Nicholas tried to blast her off but she produced a shockwave to get everyone away from her but Phoenix, saying: "How does that feel..? HOW DOES IT FEEL TO HAVE MY DISEASE, HUH? YOU TURNED ME INTO THIS, AND NOW YOU'RE PAYING FOR IT, YOU MOTHERFUCKER."
"Stop- Stop, please.. EVIE, PLEASE! YOU'RE GONNA KILL HIM!" - Lucas went on all fours and started running towards BlackOut.
Phoenix put his hand over his chest, coughing blood. He was struggling to breathe, his eyes turning to a bright shade of purple while his face was filled with despair. BlackOut heard Lucas and her eyes widened, BlackOut blasted Phoenix with more corruption and turned around to see him.
"What.. WHOSE IDEA WAS THAT?!" - BlackOut shouted, shocked.
Aaron quickly got up and ran up to Lucas to get him behind himself while Nicholas said: "It was my idea, Evanora."
"What..? Why would you..? OUT OF ALL PEOPLE.." - BlackOut's and Evanora's voices started fusing together.
Her body got back to normal by instinct, and she held her head, closing her eyes shut. She growled in anger, trying to keep Evanora from resurfacing, but ended up making a hologram above everyone and looked down, broadcasting what was going on in her mind.
In the hologram, there was Evanora, who was backing away from BlackOut, the being formed from the illness they both had.
"He's trying to stop us.. Trying to help us.. BLACKOUT, STOP, PLEASE!" - Evanora spoke.
BlackOut started laughing, as corruption was all that was visible, with glowing purple eyes and her mouth: "Why should I stop? I mean.. Don't tell me you don't remember the despair you brought because of that dark magic book you took.."
"W-What?! I-I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING, THAT WAS YOUR DOING!"
"No no, sweetheart.. You killed werewolves, to get over the fact that you killed your first love.."
"N-No, don't give me that bullshit.. I- Lucas was an accident.. YOU KILLED THOSE POOR WEREWOLVES OUT OF BLOOD THIRST, THAT WAS NOT ME! YOU DIDN'T LET ME STOP YOU, YOU CONVINCED ME TO JOIN YOU OUT OF SURVIVAL!?"
"And yet, you and I just killed Phoenix. Well, he's on his last breaths now. All because of our anger. That wasn't purely survival instincts of you, now was it?"
"Stop.. STOP IT, STOP TALKING!!" - Evanora held her head, tearing up.
BlackOut approached her and grabbed her chin for them to lock eye contact, saying: "Admit it, I'm not the only monster here. You did this to yourself. Lucas is watching, so is everyone else. Admit it."
The hologram suddenly disappeared, and Evanora resurfaced, saying: "Stop it.. STOP, STOP, STOP! WE ARE NOT THE SAME PERSON, I'M NOT A MONSTER.. I'm.. I'm not a monster.. I'm.." - She started hyperventilating and backing away from everyone.
Phoenix tried to heal himself desperately while looking at his own injuries. He couldn't speak, but his despair was clearly visible.
"Evie.." - Lucas said quietly, turning to her.
"Lu- Lucas.. I-" - Evanora covered her mouth, tearing up, not knowing how to defend herself.
BlackOut's voice fused with Evanora's, saying: "I'm not done with you." - turning to Phoenix.
Nicholas suddenly blasted BlackOut as soon as she resurfaced with purifying magic: "BlackOut, it's about time you settle down a bit."
"Wh- HEY!" - BlackOut grew angry and turned to Nicholas as he blasted her again. She blocked it with her arms, but her arms started healing instead of hurting.
Nicholas started casting a purifying spell and blasted BlackOut and Phoenix, making them float. Phoenix was unresponsive, the spell started doing it's work, healing both bodies from whatever purple injuries were all over their bodies, corrupting them.
After a while, Nicholas finished, both people going unconscious. He then hurried to check Phoenix's heart beat on his wrist and throat. He looked at his body, and sighed, looking away.
No heartbeat was felt.
He walked over to Evanora's body and crouched down, checking her pulse as well. He looked at her and smiled slightly: "At least you're alive.."
