What Gu Cheng referred to as a birthday banquet was actually the birthday party for Ai Jie's twin children.
Previously, when participating in "Let's Transform Together", Ai Jie almost fell into her ex-husband's trap. Fortunately, she later successfully exposed her ex-husband's true nature and learned of his intentions to take back the children.
Since her residence had already been discovered by her ex-husband, Ai Jie later bought a house in Bin City and moved in with the kids.
Bin City is right next to Jiang City, just over an hour's drive on the highway, allowing for same-day travel.
This is one of the reasons Ai Jie invited Gu Cheng—because it's close.
"Huh, Miaomiao didn't receive an invitation."
Previously on the show, Tuanzi and the twin siblings got along quite well.
The little face showed a look of sadness.
