Wedding day.
The scene was as simple as Jane had described. If she hadn't informed them in advance that this was their wedding venue, Rosie Scott would have thought it was just a simple gathering.
There was just one more person attending the wedding than there was yesterday.
That was the godfather standing in the center of the stage.
Rosie nudged Charles Anderson's arm with her hand: "Don't you think it's strange?"
"It's very strange. Have you seen Jack Hugh?"
Rosie looked around, but she really couldn't see any sign of him.
Blake Shaw arrived late, and he wasn't even sure how he got past the second test. His car completely blocked the front gate.
However, seeing that he had prepared gifts and a monetary contribution, no one had the heart to comment on it.
When he entered the wedding, he was also bewildered and foolishly asked, "Haven't they started setting up yet?"
"..." It was already set up.
Charles Anderson: "Did you see those few balloons on the door?"
"I saw them."
