As soon as Charles Anderson's voice came through, Rosie Scott calmed down completely. She took a long breath, and her tense shoulders relaxed.
"When are you coming back?"
Charles Anderson was a bit puzzled. This girl hadn't called him at all before. What was happening today?
"I'll be back tonight."
"Is there something you're not telling me?" Rosie Scott didn't like being kept in the dark.
Charles Anderson heard the strange tone in her voice and thought about the issues with the Scott Clan during the day: "Just some troublemakers, nothing major. I've already taken care of it."
"Charles Anderson, I don't like being lied to."
"Why would I lie to you?" The man chuckled.
"Adam knows, doesn't he? Isabella Scott isn't dead either." Her tone was firm.
The man didn't know how she found out this information, but her words left him speechless.
"Answer me."
