Rosie's mouthful of instant noodles sprayed out directly.
Weren't the two men standing by the table Charles and Jack?!
Oh, no, wait, I should say it was Charles's disguise and Jack.
Jack was always smiling at people, but when he saw the bowl of spicy hotpot floating with chili oil in front of Jane, his face turned as dark as coal.
He snatched away Jane's chopsticks and swept the remaining hotpot in her bowl empty.
"Hey," Jane was speechless.
How did he know they were here?
Could it be that he put a tracker on them?
Jack wiped his mouth with a napkin and turned to look at Jane, who was only blinking her eyes. He reprimanded softly for the first time, in a manly manner: "Didn't you know you can't eat spicy food because of your injury?"
Rosie sat across the table, slightly raising her eyebrows. Watching this drama unfold felt quite intriguing.
Who would've thought that gentle and refined Jack had such a domineering side?
