Chapter 5 - CHAPTER 5- BEASTMAN CAPITAL : AISTHÁNETAI

As the days went by nothing of importance happened.

The days spent with my best friend was relaxing to say the least. We spent time with each other telling stories of our journey to where we are now. Laughing with each other. But as all things come to an end we are going to separate ways after we reach the beastman capital.

I'll be going to the guild and she will be going to the mountain range located at the far east of the capital. She said that's we're her new master would be.

sniff...sniff

"can you stop crying already?" I said

"b-but... I don't want to part with you. " She exclaimed

"It's going to be fine. I'm sure the next time we would be seeing each other it might be on the tournament or on my travels. And there's no way for us to say that we wouldn't meet each other. There are thousands of possibilities, thousands of opportunities, thousands of future for us not to meet again, so train hard because you're not the only one that going to be strong enough to compete with the world. "

I said as I pat her head.

"mhhm... I know. Still I'll miss you"

"Don't worry we'll meet again. I know you'll be lonely but please stay strong" I said

"Until we meet again let's promise each other that we will be strong to compete with the strongest of this generation."

"yeah! let's see who with the two of us is going to be the..."

....

As I waived my hand good bye to my friend I noticed that the world isn't as cruel as it used to be.

With that I continued going north.

As I neared my destination I couldn't believe that the capital of the beastmen are as beautiful as they say it was. They used to be just a bunch of rowdy beast before the king emerge and unify all beastmen under his wing.

Now what I'm seeing is that what used to be a mountain when my brother and I first visited to formally greet the new king is now a majestic place filled with all types of architectural beauty.

And so I continued to walk until I neared the gatesand walls that protect the capital.

The gates are massive and the guards that guard it is equally intimidating to see.

And so I entered and they quickly check my ID and as I am an adventurer I got to go in for free.

And the first thing I did was to find myself an inn.

*walks up to the guard standing near the capital's grand gate, her attire practical and well-used, showing the signs of someone who's been on a few adventures—leather armor, a sturdy cloak, and a sword at her side* Excuse me, could you help me with something?

*looks at Aurora, noting her gear and confident demeanor* Aye, what do you need?

"I'm looking for a place to stay for the night. Somewhere that's affordable but still decent. Do you know of any inns like that around here?"

*scratches his chin thoughtfully*

If it's a good inn at a fair price you're after, you'd want to head down to the Sleepy Willow. It's not far, just past the market square. Clean beds, warm meals, and the innkeeper won't charge you an arm and a leg."

"The Sleepy Willow, you said? Sounds perfect. Anything I should be aware of?"

*nods* Aye, just be sure to mention that Olric sent you. The innkeeper there, Greta, is a fair woman but she appreciates knowing her guests come recommended. It'll get you an extra slice of bread with your supper, if nothing else."

Smiles gratefully'"Thank you. I appreciate the help."

"Safe travels, and watch yourself this capital has its fair share of challenges, even for seasoned adventurers."
