"no"
"No"
"No!", Audrey yelled getting up. Her heart felt heavy and her breath forced.
She combed her hand through her locs trying to steady her breath, she then turned to look at her alarm clock. it was still 3am in the morning, 3 hours before the day starts.
That incident became a scar In her mind, a wound she tried so hard to heal, an unwanted alarm clock. It annoyed her because once she woke up, she couldn't go back to bed.
After a few lazy stretches, she got down from bed, her body still feeling stiff.
She heads straight to her gym, as she punched the bag the incident of yesterday played in her head. She knew it wasnt over, and she needed to get strong.
She did a few press ups, a few sit ups and a large number of pull ups. While doing those she came up with strategies to turn the fight in her advantage.
Audrey didn't like that her first week in school could get her expelled, defending Damaris was a huge step, if presented wrong, she could be in big trouble.
Luckily before coming home, Audrey branched at a store to get a secret camera, if this go south she could play the tape to the cops or head of the school if he/she isn't corrupt.
"tur-n", she pulled up.
"Your anger", she pulled up again.
"Into - strength", she pulled up, then dropped down.
She picked up her bottle from the floor, drinking everything in it. She looked up at the clock on the wall, it was almost five. Time was moving fast.
Audrey walked to her room covered in sweat, she was to lazy to wipe it off with a towel. She got into the bathroom, took of her clothes, then stepped into the shower.
The bathroom had both a bathtub and a shower. She turned on cold water letting it pour on her head down to her body. Her body still ached from yesterdays fight but her bruises were almost heal. She raised her hand staring at the once deep scrape that was almost healed.
she knew something was up with her. She couldn't be an ordinary human, cause no human could escape death the amount of times she did.
She snapped out of her trans and picked up her bath cloth, After scrubbing every part of her body, she let the water rinse away the foam. She needed a retwist but she didn't have the time to do so, and going to the salon was stressful, since she liked doing it her self.
She stepped out of the bathroom drying her body with another towel, she looked at the clock in her room, to 6. She had a class scheduled 8, and school was a bit far from her house
She hurried up her pace, she applied body creme and then a deodorant body spray. Even tho her locs needed a retwist didn't mean she left it uncared for. She had many hair products but not to many, she applied her usual scented hair oil, with some leave in conditioner before blow drying her hair .
She walked into her partially empty wardrobe to pick an outfit, she needed a free and flexible attire for today's fight, that's if it those happen.
You can never be too prepared, she thought.
She picked a fitted black short sleeve top, with a round high neck. To match them, she picked a baggy 3 quarter knicker, she would have worn jeans with it but she needed flexibility. What would go well with this outfit, sandals.
After wearing everything, she sprayed perfume over her clothes, then tied her locs in a loose ponytail. Also wore a few knuckle rings.
She grabbed her bag, place everything that was needed for today inside, then rushed out of the house.
Audrey arrived at school few minutes to class, so she decided to take a quick stroll to make sure everything was alright. With the way Damaris was gullible, Audrey felt she was already in trouble. One thing about dorks/ nerds they are always early for class, hopefully she'd be sensible to stay home or hide from that bully.
She knew even if Damaris was to get bullied it would be where everyone couldn't see, so she checked the first possible place they could be, the incomplete building still under construction. And as expected they were there.
"Your guardian angel isn't here to help you?", Claire held Damaris by her collar.
Claire's back was facing Audrey, while Damaris body pinned to the wall. Claire wore a blue fitted top with knee length grey shorts. While Damaris as usual, her weird outfit. A mixed colored sweater with green shorts.
As Audrey was about to step forward she got a notification.
Class group
Class rep: lecturer won't be available today, so class is cancelled.
Luckily that was her only class today, now she can face this fight head on.
Her goons weren't there, just Claire and Damaris. Audrey placed her phone in her bag, then brought out the tiny camera from her bags side pocket. She placed it at the top of her shirt, making it look like a brioche, then walked up to Claire.
Audrey pulled her away from Damaris and before she could say anything, she punched Claire so hard in her face.
Damaris slummed to the floor, tears pouring down her face non-stop. Audrey squatted down in front of her raising her head up. Damaris had so many bruises on her face, her nose and mouth bleeding. Her left eye bruised, her body bruised and her cloth soaked with blood.
As Audrey examine Damaris's body, she let her guards down. She didn't know when Claire had stood up.
Claire stood behind Audrey, holding a rod in her hand. Damaris caught sight of it, but before she could talk, Claire struck Audrey in the head.
Audrey laid on the ground, clutching her head. She placed her hand on the area the rode hit, and brought her hand back to her face. She was bleeding, heavy.
"I'm going to make you pay", Claire said snapping her finger. Out of no where her goons appeared.
They both towered over Audrey, one kick her from the front while one from the back.
"Ple-ea-s-e, Don't hurt he-r", Damaris begged watching the guys kick Audrey as she laid on the ground.
"You still have the nerves to talk", Claire turned to look at Damaris in anger and irritation. Claire stood not far Damaris , she walked over to her and then raised her foot.
Audrey saw what she was about to do, but her hands were full. Claire raised her foot and with great force stepped on Damaris's ankle.
"Ar-gh!!!", Damaris yelled clenching her leg.
Claire signaled the guys, and they Audrey by her arms lifting her up. Audrey spat the blood that gathered up in her mouth to the side.
"The nerve to punch me", Claire punched Audrey's tummy.
"Ughh".
This exactly what I was against, already losing before it even begun, Audrey scolded herself.
As Claire was about to punch Audrey again, Audrey killed her hand in the face.
"Ah! My no-ose", she cried taking big steps back.
The guys who held her threw her hand to the ground, as one was about to step on her, she threw sand up to their face.
She immediately grabbed the rod Claire drop on the ground and struck one of them in the head really hard, and while the other still battled with the sand in his eye, she struck him hard in his knees.
When he was on the ground, Audrey quickly kicked him in the face, but he wasn't down yet. So she picked up the rod and struck him at the back of his head, knocking him unconscious.
Claire still clenched her nose, how is her kick so strong? It's not supposed to have any effect on me!, she whined in her mind.
"What is she? She can't be-", Claire couldn't finish cause she was knocked out by the rod to her head.
Audrey's drop the rod down, stepping away from Claire. I hope their not dead?, Audrey asked her self.
Audrey had zoned out, but was brought back by Damaris's weeping.
"Are you alright?", Audrey asked.
"Of course you're not such a dumb question", she replied her question looking at Damaris's leg, it was really bruised.
Audrey stood up, touched her camera that looked like a brioche on her top to make sure it was broken. Thankfully it wasn't.
She hung her bag and also Damaris's.
"I'm taking you straight home", Audrey said standing in front of Damaris
Audrey bent down then picked Damaris up like she wasn't heavy, as tho she weighed like a pillow.
" But You're hur-"
"Forget about me", Audrey replied walking towards the schools exit. Luckily they weren't many people outside, so they managed to slip by.
