The dream began differently this tim
Nicole first remembered the sensation of snow beneath her bare feet, though she was certain she had fallen asleep tucked warmly under blankets. The icy wind bit at her cheeks as she stumbled forward, her breath rising in pale clouds. Around her stretched the white silence of the Snow Kingdom, but something was wrong.
Her heart beat wildly was she sleepwalking? It felt too real.
Then a figure emerged from the swirling mist.
The shadow…Tall, monstrous, its form built of bones, tattered hide, and a darkness that writhed like smoke. Its eyes burned with a faint ember-glow, yet there was no malice. Instead, it reached out a clawed, skeletal hand and gently, almost reverently took hers.
Nicole gasped, every instinct telling her to pull back. But something inside whispered: trust it.
