Weapon: Musashi Masamune

Armor: n/a

Accessory: Demon Dragon Mask, Red Kingdom Multidimensional Bag (369/99999)]

"I wonder why I have no level, I guess some things about my status are not so gamelike."

"I have to learn how to raise my stats if I want to make myself useful."

Wilson put Musashi Masamune and Demon Dragon Mask in this multidimensional bag. "I can't rely on overpowered items to survive, I'll use you guys on a rainy day. For now, I want to rely on my own strength"

Wilson looked shabby, wearing a simple ensemble of shirt and pants, he felt a little bit undergeared if he was to train for anything. He looked for Ginge and asked about what he could do about his shabby garments.

"My brother liked to be simple, he didn't want to stand out and he didn't need to because he's not after the succession of the throne. He spent his time playing games and accompanying me when I needed help."

"I didn't gain any stat boosts from having possessed your brother's body, I think we are just so much alike in a lot of respects."

"You must have had an easy life back on Earth then."

"I did work and had a few hobbies. So, can I get some armor or something?"

"Why don't you use the things you got from the red room?"

"I feel like they're too powerful for me to handle right now, and I don't really like the feeling of being a cheat-like character."

"You have some dignity, human. Very well, let's buy you some beginner items."

"Thank you, my sister!"

"Humph!"

Wilson and Ginge went to the weapon and armor shop, The Frozen Anvil. It was a modest shop with almost anything a novice adventurer could ever want. The weapons available ranged from knives to short swords to twin greatswords, and the armor offerings varied from leather to full-set metal armor. Wilson's eyes were glittering as he now felt the medieval vibe of being in a new world, except that the items were full of color.

"You can choose anything you want, but I hope you choose something that you can actually use." Ginge said.

Wilson started to look closely at the weapons and armor.

"Red Basic Shortsword, ATTACK +12

Viridian Sharpened Poison Dagger, ATTACK +15 (special effect: poison touch, 1 damage per second)

Yellow Greatsword, ATTACK + 35, 30 STRENGTH required

Blue Basic Bow, ATTACK +10

Pink Basic Arrow, ATTACK +5

Orange Engraved Kris, ATTACK +20 (special effect: dimensional slash, deal extra 30 damage and activate 'dimensional step' to move to your target in a blink of an eye)

Purple Whip, ATTACK +8"

"Wow, these items are all colored weirdly." Wilson mused. "I think I'll go for the bow and arrow, what do you think, Ginge?"

"It suits your cowardly state."

"Heh, I just don't like being in front of enemies."

"What enemies are you imagining? Although the monsters here progressively get stronger the more you venture out into the wilds, they are not so savage for you to just hunt and gain experience from."

"What do you mean?"

"Some monsters have sentience and form countries of their own, you should not fight unnecessary battles, there are simulation rooms for you to gain relevant battle experience and if you want to get physically stronger, you can just work out."

"Then what are we here in the weapon and armor shop for?"

"You wanted gear. And you might venture out alone in the wilds, this will be a precautionary purchase."

"Alright, can I get the Kris too?"

"You should have that much if you want to survive with your countenance." Ginge mockingly said.

"What about armor?"

"Brown Leather Armor, DEFENSE +10

Yellow Ochre Sneagle Skin Armor, DEFENSE +15 AGILITY +10 (special effect: quick steps, move 3 steps with enhanced speed)

Red Rhinophant Skin Heavy Armor, DEFENSE +30, 30 STRENGTH required (special effect: thick skin, reduce damage taken by 15%)

Black Iron Armor, DEFENSE +25

Pink Silver Heavy Armor, DEFENSE +35, 35 STRENGTH required"

"I'll go for the Sneagle Skin Armor."

"That's a good choice. Not bad, human."

The duo purchased the weapons and armor for Wilson and the owner gave them a small discount.

"Let's head to the city hall and find our residence." Ginge was actually tired from all their travels and wanted to sleep in a good bed.

The Pevia City Hall was one of the weirdest buildings Wilson has ever seen. It was 5 stories high and looked like a giant Fusilli pasta that had a broccoli head on top. It looked like a multicolored big tree.

"This is a legit fantasy building! So nice. I feel hungry again after looking at this building. Hahaha!" Wilson laughed.

Entering the city hall, the duo were welcomed by polite greetings from the staff and one member was particularly excited to meet them. Fabian Miranda was tasked to be Prince Hester's guide and personal aide, he was ready to offer his services to the royalty of the Conley Grand Empire. As soon as he met the two, he immediately greeted them.

"Welcome to the Pevia City Hall, prince, and princess. As advised by our governor, I, Fabian Miranda had been given the task to show you to your temporary residence and guide you with whatever you might be interested in pursuing here in our humble region."

"Thank you, Fabian, we'd like to rest in our residences for now." Ginge, tired, said in a very lazy tone.

"Right this way, princess." Fabian was impeccable in his service.

"I wanted to check out the place but it would be nice to rest after a long journey." Wilson thought.

They walked out of the city hall, walking to a residential area near the city square and they found themselves in front of two blue-colored houses, both exemplary looking and seemingly unused. Fabian has the keys to both houses and he ceremoniously handed each of the duo a key.

Ginge took the key and immediately went to one of the houses to rest.

"The houses are yours to use as you see fit for as long as you stay here and we will reserve these spaces for your potential return in the future. Please enjoy! By the way, Prince Hester, if you need anything or you want some guidance for learning and moving about in the region, don't hesitate to ask me. I will be at your call immediately."

"Hmm. I actually want to take up governor Li's offer to study about magic and other things here in Pevia. Is there any way you can arrange that for me?"

"We've already been informed by this, prince. As of now, a group of tutors and guides are being prepared for you. Please give us a few days to create a conducive environment for your learning."

"I see, let me know when I can start! Thank you, Fabian." Wilson was excited.

"Alright, here is a communication device where you can contact me for anything, prince."

"Okay, that will be all, Fabian."

"I shall take my leave, prince."

Wilson entered his house. After a few days of travel, he too really felt tired but his excitement about the new world overpowered his fatigue. As soon as he saw the bed, his body gave in and he quickly fell asleep.

Wilson woke up in reality.

"Woah. I came back?"

"I lived the dream!"

He found himself looking at the book by his bedside table. He took it and checked if he could find anything about returning to his dreams.

"Part 2 - Returning to the Dream"

"Hah! With this, I can return to my dreams!"

Wilson read the book closely, not missing out on any detail that could make him distort his dreams.

"Virgil Munoz, thank you for this splendid book! I wasn't a believer in the beginning but now I am sold!"

He got on about his day and was very much anticipating his return home so that he could sleep and dream again.

"In order to successfully return to the dream, one has to create a dream journal, where one should list the experiences they encounter in the dream, the places, people, food, everything. The sights and sounds have to be documented in order to be able to successfully visualize the world in the dream."

Wilson found a blank notebook from his bookshelf and seriously wrote about the 4th dimension. He detailed the things he saw in his short journey, the mountains, the hybrid animals, Pevia, the food, the weapons and armor, the buildings, the people, Pablo Li and Fabian Miranda, and his sister in another dimension, Ginge.

"I'm ready to dream now."

Closing his eyes, Wilson was expectant, excited, and exhilarated. He soon fell asleep…
