Sylvia:
My eyes adjusted to the light as we entered the packhouse. It was the first time I had ever seen the entryway room empty. "We had everyone go somewhere else for tonight. We thought you'd enjoy the privacy." Sinlan's voice was soft as it met my ears.
"I do, thank you." My heart was starting to race.
"Don't worry, though." Silas said as we began to turn up the stairs. " I did tell Bethany and Caleb to be back for breakfast. Eggs are already preordered."
I let out a small laugh, of course, he did. My men were so sweet. As we reached the room door, Sinlan opened the door, and Silas walked me in before sitting me on the edge of the bed. He walked back and closed the door. My hands suddenly felt very uncomfortable, and I twiddled them in my lap as I watched the two men standing by the door staring at me. Their eyes were practically devouring me, and even though I knew what would happen, that very soon they wouldn't only be using their eyes that were being used to devour me.
