Wei Xu body manifest into a new world. It looked like the real world except things were rather different.
He looked around only to see huge trees and broken down wooden houses. There was absolutely no technology in this world. It was as if it was a world before technology started developing.
But that wasn't all. "Shadow?" He cried out shocked to find out that he couldn't access his mind space. Shadow was no where to be found leaving him feeling a sense of loneliness. Something he haven't felt in a long time.
Not only that it seems like his body stats has disappear. Luckily before his body stats even started increasing he's been honing his skills and strengthening his body.
As he thought of this he began walking around in the forest. Broken down houses lay everywhere making him question what happened.
When he went deeper he saw blood scattered everywhere and the souls of the dead floating above their corpse, "Its been a while since I saw these." He almost forgot that he could see the souls of the dead, "I should research about this when I get back." He told himself then started going deeper.
Roar! When he reached the end of his destination he saw a huge tiger with blood leaking off its fangs. Wings were on its back flapping in pleasure at human flesh.
[Ding! Beat the first boss. Winged Tiger.]
Roar! The tiger sensing Wei Xu turned around and start dashing toward him with the urge to kill.
Wei Xu seeing this had no idea what to do. He have no weapons and none of his abilities seem to work.
Formless Sword Strike!
He place his hand at his waist but nothing happened. "Dammit!" He clench his teeth as the Tiger was just an inch away from him. With nothing to do he sent a fist toward it.
Black Heating Bones!
His bones began turning black and heat formed around his body. Crack! His fist landed on the tiger sending it back a few steps.
[Strength has increased by 5.]

Strength = 5
Speed = 0
Stamina = 0
Flexibility = 0
"Huh? Wait! If this works then...!" Wei Xu never expected that this ability would work. Then he thought of something. Darkness belong to Shadow while lightening belong to the dormant spirit, "If I some how lost connection with them then I'm only left with powers belonging to myself." And the only attribute that truly belong to him was fire. However, that wasn't all.
Vanishing Steps.
Wei Xu used the ability of Vanishing Steps that allow him to teleport ten feets. He appear behind the Tiger and sent another punch at it. Crack! His arms tremble as his current strength couldn't handle the ability but he clench his teeth and continue.
Roar! The constant punches caused its body to become bruised. It landed on the floor far away from Wei Xu from exhaustion. It couldn't keep up with Wei Xu constant attacks.
Wei Xu seeing this didn't know what to do. The quest will only be completed if he kill the monster. But he had nothing to kill it with.
A thought then entered his mind. His eyes turned dark as he walked toward the exhausted tiger. He placed his hands in its mouth and with all his strength he stretched it out. Roar! Pain riddle the tiger mind and mouth and blood came flowing out of it.
In normal cases Wei Xu shouldn't be able to do this but he came to realize that The Winged Tiger is physically weak only depending on its speed and strength to defeat its enemies.
[Ding! Quest Completed-]
The system of the virtual reality announced that he have killed the monster when it suddenly paused.
[Error.]
The system became corrupted and a black cube appear around Wei Xu.
[Ding! Quest Completed! Reward progressing...]
Wei Xu hearing this became shock. "How?" He wondered how the cube came into this world when shadow couldn't.
[Reward : Returning body stats.]
Body Stats :
Strength = 10
Speed = 16
Stamina = 11
Flexibility = 13
"Damn!" Wei Xu shouted not expecting the turn of events. The world got rid of all his power but the cube simply overrides it and gave him back his body stats, "This is like using a cheat code!"
He felt at ease with his strength returned. Although he still couldn't use the powers from shadow and the spirit he felt more comfortable.
He took of the tiger skin thinking he could sell it for a few cash if he encounter a village then forced out its fangs that it used to kill its victims.
He used a few materials and carve the fangs into two sharp daggers, "Now I have some weapons." He said while swinging the daggers, feeling it separating the wind.
"Alright time to go." Wei Xu thought while rolled up the tiger fur. He wish he could know how to manipulate fire. If he did then he could have turned the meat into roasted chicken.
On his journey to find a village he encountered many small monsters. They were strong but not as strong as the Winged Tiger so Wei Xu easily killed them.
"Where can I find the second boss?" He thought to himself as he continue his journey.
A few months pasted by. Wei Xu could feel hunger taking over his being and his eyes grew sleepy from not having any sleep. But he still continue his journey to find a village.
A year pasted by. With hunger taking over his being he had no other option other than to eat the raw flesh of the monsters he killed.
Two years later he found a cave that occupied the Second Boss. With his body stats returned he managed to easily kill it. Sadly though the cube didn't give him any rewards probably thinking it was too easy for him.
He spent a whole seventy days in the cave sleeping. Only he knew how tired he was for getting no sleep for three years.
When he felt like he could start continuing again he got up. He left the tiger skin though as it had no use for him anymore.
[Ding! You have killed the third boss.]
[Ding! You have killed the forth boss.]
Messages appear telling him he completed the Quest. Its been four years already. His hair have already grown out and a long beard cover his chin. "How old am I now? Twenty-one? Yet I look like someone in his forties."
After five whole year he found a village. "Finally!" He cried out in surprise when he saw the sign welcoming him to the village.
When he got inside the village he saw everyone looking at him strangely. He looked nothing like a human with his long hair and beard.
With nothing else to do he went to a corner and used his daggers made from the tiger fangs to cut them.
When he came out again he looked like a young scholar. He went to a restaurant feeling hungry. He haven't ate proper food in a long time.
Wei Xu ordered a bunch of food. It was crazy since he didn't have any money. He devour everything and the waiter looked at him feeling weird.
When he finished the waiter spoke. "Sir." He said in a voice anyone would use when asking for something.
"Oh. Money." Wei Xu searched his pockets knowing well that he have no cash. "I don't have any." He smiled at the waiter.
