9:31 AM, On the coast, Ōta Ward, Neo-Tokyo, Japan.
"He sent all three Generals!?" Shiro internalized. Mateo jumped out from the submarine, landing on the coast, across from Shiro.
"Long time no see, Shiro... Didn't think you'd ever switch sides..." Mateo mocked him. Shiro clenched his fists.
"I'm surprised Goro was stupid enough to make you an X-Guild General..." Shiro said. Mateo chuckled, pulling out two daggers connected by a chain.
"A Klerostathuim chain eh... Goro gives it to you...?" Shiro asked.
"Klerostathium is the most indestructible and rare ore found in the deep depths of the earth near the core, caused by the heat from the planet's core and a chain reaction of nuclear weapons. Expensive to Mine and Forge. Costs millions on the black market. It's got the texture of quartz and can be used as a light source." Said The narrator.
"You wanna know how he got it Shiro...?" Mateo asked. Shiro smirked, raising a brow.
"What, the 10th District obtained a heat-resistant radioactive laser mining machine...?" Shiro asked. Mateo wagged his finger, signaling that Shiro was wrong.
"He created it..."
"... Out Of Thin Air..." Mateo said. Shiro looked shocked,
"Stop lying, that's not even possible..." Shiro said.
"... Unless you were some type of god..." The two said in unison. Shiro's eyes widened, looking up at Mateo.
"I'd love to see your reaction to Goro's new look... It's like we all witnessed the second coming of Christ... He can create things out of thin air and feed the hungry... We're on the way to becoming the most prosperous district in the shortest amount of time because of him..." Mateo said.
"And he made one vow..." Mateo said. Shiro looked interested,
"And that was...?" Shiro asked.
"To kill all Entities..." Mateo said. Shiro's eyes widened, suddenly thinking of Yuki.
"That's nonsense... Did you see what happened to Daisuke Adiona when he tried taking on Yuki Homura possessed by their king..." Shiro said. Mateo chuckled, clutching his daggers tighter.
"Adiona was an insane man driven by rivalry... Goro is different... He is driven by conviction and his mission from god..." Mateo said. Shiro scoffed,
"That's all just bs... Now, let's go..." Shiro said, getting into a fighting stance. Mateo's grasp on his daggers tightened,
"I'll show you bs..." Mateo said. Shiro ran toward Mateo, as two swords of darkness formed in Shiro's hands. Their blades collided making a shockwave ripple, shattering windows and sounding off car alarms. People in the area began to panic, running all over the place.
"Let's move this fight somewhere else..." Shiro said. Mateo grinned menacingly,
"No... I'm not in the mood..." Mateo said, jumping back from Shiro. Mateo grabbed the chain near the end of one of his daggers, spinning it in circles.
"EXTEND!" Mateo shouted. The chain extended, stabbing multiple civilians in the stomach, automatically killing them. Shiro's eyes widened, running toward Mateo. Mateo then threw the chain and dagger toward Shiro, hitting him with the dead bodies. Shiro put his arm up, shielding his body from the hit.
"What the hell is wrong with you!! Those were innocent lives!!" Shiro shouted. Mateo shouted,
"I think everyone that lives here is scum... I'll kill anyone I like..." Mateo said. Shiro clenched his fist.
"I can't let him keep hold of that chain... I have to sever it from the daggers somehow... If he absorbs its properties it's over for me... In an instant..." Shiro internalized. Shiro looked back at both sides behind him.
"I can't let anyone else die either..." Shiro thought to himself. A cloud of darkness then formed around Mateo's mouth. Mateo smirked,
"Fine... If you don't want me to... I won't talk..." Mateo internalized. Mateo started swinging one of his daggers in a circle with the chain. Mateo slowly walked toward Shiro. Shiro did the same. Right before they would connect blades, Shiro's eyes widened and he jumped back. Shiro grits his teeth,
"Those blades... They have Shiki imbued Klerostathuim shards in them..." Shiro said. Mateo chuckled, as he grinned. Shiro then appeared in front of Mateo in a flash. Mateo's eyes widened, as he vanished, appearing a few feet back. The dark cloud then vanished from Mateo's mouth. Mateo had an irritated grin on his face.
"... The Big Oaf talks too much... His brain can only be stimulated so much to the point he's distracted himself by monologuing..." Shiro internalized. Shiro grinned, as a black cloud covered his body like armor. Shiro ran toward Mateo, as the two started colliding blades. Shiro then got up close to one of Mateo's daggers, preparing to sever it from the chain. Just then, he looks to his left, seeing the blade of a dagger coming toward him. Shiro's eye's widen as he attempts to dodge but the blade slashes Shiro's left eye. Shiro jumped back putting a hand over his scarred left eye with blood spilling out from it. Mateo looked at the tip of his blade chuckling.
"Before I became a general… I was never able to land a hit on you…" Mateo said. Shiro had an angry look on his face as he looked up at Mateo.
"I need to beat him… So I can protect them…" Shiro said, thinking about Asuka and his son.
Meanwhile in a dark room, three men in white tuxedo's were having a conversation with some wine and a charcuterie board.
"The first part of our plan is in act… What's the next step…?" A familiar voice asked.
"You'll see Mr. Homura… Did you retrieve what I requested from you…?" Another familiar voice asked. Akuno nodded, taking a sip of wine.
"Good… We just need to let The Assault On Tokyo play out as according…" Daisuke Shimura said.
