"The war between the three nations had finally ended. The sister nations and Haru officially came to a peace treaty under the condition of non-monopoly over MECHA"
It was a war that lasted for over an year. A duration so small that it couldn't reciprocate to the damage it caused. Destruction of lives and property was common. It shook the only three countries to ever exist on a large scale.
"At the very least, we might live better. For now atleast.", a civilian spoke.
It was just a treaty, a truce.
The Second Prince was imprisoned in a high quality with a 24-hours strict surveillance.
"I would like to..... No, I will repeat it again, you're a fool, Aarya.", His words echoed throughout Aarya's mind. He couldn't understand the reason behind it.
"Really, am I fool for seeking equality?"
Aarya wondered as he entered the Kreisian War General, Richard Rowers' office.
"Pilot Aarya, reporting in, sir!", Aarya saluted the War General.
"Excellent work, Aarya.", Richard appreciated him. He got up from his seat and walked towards Aarya, patting his shoulders.
Aarya felt disgusted by his very presence.
"These dominating scum really annoy me to no end.", Aarya thought.
"I know you hate me, Aarya.", Richard spoke as he went closer to Aarya's ear, whispering, "But, you've done a well job."
"Thank You, Sir!", Aarya exclaimed.
The War General, Richard shook upon his loud cry and went back, turning his back onto Aarya.
He walked away from him speaking, "You're a really great stepping stone...."
Aarya could feel his vision get blurry and blank. He could slowly feel himself losing control over his limbs and feel weaker by the time. His eyes were slowly closing while he tried his best to keep them open.
The War General turned towards him saying, "Aarya".
Aarya lost consciousness the moment Richard finished his sentence.
His view turned pitch black for that moment as he passed out.
"Wakey, wakey...."
A chilling voice could be heard to which Aarya lifted his eyelids.
What he saw before his sight turned blank and sight he's seeing after opening his eyelids was different. He noticed himself in a different place. He noticed himself sitting with his back to a metallic wall. He lifted his head to see the scene.
"What the.....hell...?", Aarya wondered. Then, a foul-stench filled his nose. That stench nearly made Aarya throw up. His sphincter muscles were about to throw the food in his stomach back out of his mouth. He controlled the impulse.
"What's that smell!", Aarya spoke out his thoughts in an annoyed tone.
Aarya got up and looked at the sight in front of him, much to his horror.
There were corpses lying a few meters away from him. The corpses were of human and some other organisms, which couldn't be considered human. He could see blood and some other fluids lying on the floor. The corpses lying on the floor were heavily mutilated to the point of no recognition.
Then, Aarya noticed a human head lying on the floor. He approached it, slowly as wondered if there were any other living humans in the place he found himself in. As he went closer, he heard a growl, a threatening and a scary one.
"Aaa....", a sound came from the direction from where the growl could be heard.
Aarya was immediately alerted and took a defensive stance as he looked at the direction from where the growl and the voice had come from. The being which appeared from the shadow of the well-lit room on his side was shocking. That being appeared from the shadows, showing itself.
The being was humanoid no, it was a human. That human was heavily mutilated, his facial features were recognizable. He had some fur growing out from his face and some grotesque limb like structures protruding out from his lower and upper back. The left part of his head had his brain sticking out.
Aarya recognized the person in front of him but he shocked to see about the being he had become.
The being recognized Aarya and had visible disbelief in its face. It made an expression of discontentment and anger on its face, screaming. As the limbs protruding out from its lower abdomen fused slowly, forming a 'drill-like' structure.
"A-AARYA!", it rushed towards him as it plunged its 'drill-like' right arm towards Aarya.
Aarya immediately used [Spatial] to which the being which charged at him lost sight of him.
It lost nearly all sanity and could kill based on its instinct. However, it felt extreme bloodlust the moment it saw Aarya. Its bloodlust calmed down the moment Aarya disappeared. But it was on high alert, turning through every angle in search for him.
It face was then impacted by soles on its face, causing it to move backwards and collide to the glass wall behind it, breaking it. It was kicked by Aarya who warped and kicked its face while he midair. Its protruding limbs caught Aarya the moment it fell backwards from the breakage of the glass.
It fell downwards into the empty space down from the other side of the floor, dragging Aarya with it. Aarya which was being dragged along with it, took grip onto the floor, at the cost of the broken shards of glass stabbing him at his arms and his chest.
Aarya let out moans from the pain of the shards stabbing him. That being, had more fluid-like limb structures growing out from its lower back which grabbed onto Aarya. He tried to desperately keep his grip onto the floor, rather than fall into the unknown bottom of the pit which he couldn't see.
"Aarya...", the being let out a voice in its screeching voice screaming, "Give me back my sister!"
"I didn't kill your sister.", Aarya replied loudly and continued raising his voice, "It was the accident which killed your sister and nearly crippled me."
"Wha-t?", the being asked.
"Your sister is the reason I am alive now. She gave up her life to protect mine.", Aarya gulped and cried.
"Your sister is a 'Hero'."
Aarya cried and continued, "Be proud of her in your last moments."
Aarya then used [Spatial] and teleported onto the floor, freeing himself from its grasp. This caused the grotesque being to lose its grip as it was not hanging onto anything other than Aarya, falling into the dark unknown pit. A plop sound echoed throughout the place as the being reached the end of the dark pit, implying that it was water.
"Did he just fall into water?", Aarya wondered.
"Well done, Aarya!", A voice praised him out from nowhere. It sounded as if it came from a speaker somewhere.
Aarya was alerted and immediately looked at the direction of the voice. He could recognize the voice. It belonged to the 'War General' of Kreiss Monarchy.
"War General.", Aarya thought out loud.
"An excellent guess. Yes, it is me.", the voice replied, revealing itself to belong to the War General of Kreiss.
"No questions, I will show you what the 'Big Picture' truly is."
The War General declared.
"WAR GENERAL, WAR GENERAL, WAR GENERAL!", Aarya raised his voice as he twitched his head in extreme anger forward.
Same sort of beings as the previous started to appear in front of Aarya, each having its own individual features but not being human.
Then, the lights in the darker places lit up on the ceiling of the floor and the glass windows which were foggy started to clear up. Revealing a much horrifying sight with more of these beings, corpses and much worse, from the windows, marine life could be seen. Thus, concluding that the place he was in was underwater.
"Welcome to the 'CUBE', Aarya.", The War General, Richard Rowers stated.
