Jiang Li was in a deep sleep on the bed, waking up twice in between, but soon passed out again. Her head had been hit, wrapped in layers of bandages, with blood seeping through; it was quite serious.
"Do you know who did it?"
Never heard that Jiang Li had any enemies!
Except for her.
"The police said they would do their best to find the culprit, but the incident happened in a blind spot for surveillance. That place has a large flow of people, too many to identify any useful clues. Now, we're just waiting for her to wake up and see if she knows anything."
"As long as she's okay, take it slowly. If you don't want others to know, don't do it yourself. The law's net is vast and leaves nothing out, the culprit won't get away with it for long."
Ying Jing stayed for a while and then left.
It seems those rumors weren't spread by Jiang Li.
She couldn't think of who would, and had no memory of these events either.
