During the Fiery Flame Land uprising, when Adalbert and Yisen Gard arrived at Fiery Flame Land together with Ian to handle the rebels, even though he trusted Ian's handling, Adalbert still cautiously asked, "All crimes to be dealt with severely and swiftly—this can easily lead to wrongful convictions!"
Adalbert didn't think Ian's handling of criminals was wrong; rather, with his moral standards, he probably wished even more than Ian to capture all these human traffickers, robbers, gang members, and violent criminal groups promptly.
But on the other hand, he was more cautious, unwilling to mistakenly kill an innocent person when the situation could be suppressed and handled slowly.
