Back then, the Star God Spaceship collided with the Cradle Barrier, allowing the ether inside the Cradle to flow to the outside world, attracting The End which was seeking a suitable habitat nearby. However, as the ether vanished, The End's movement along the spatial axis became increasingly sluggish, and by the time It arrived outside the Cradle, the Cradle had already been repaired, with no ether leaking out.
It stood motionless in place, trapped in a state of neither life nor death for The End.
Until... the Light Dragon shattered the wound of the Cradle, allowing high concentration ether to flow out, reactivating The End's ability to move.
Or possibly two hundred million years later, the Cradle broke apart, and the sparse ether flowed out, granting The End one last opportunity to follow the ether flow back to the Black Hole.
As for the normal material world?
The End doesn't care. Just like Humans wouldn't spare a glance for planets with inhospitable environments.
