Chapter 23 - Chapter 23: Group Attack

Director Walker's words instantly caused an uproar at the Academy of Calligraphy and Painting.

"She's not a new student, she's the one who was expelled?"

"What did she do to get expelled?"

Someone suddenly asked Ava Wright in surprise, "I heard Director Walker call her Amelia Wright, is she Amelia? The adopted daughter who was mistreated by your family? Before, she seemed plain following behind you, didn't expect her to be so pretty."

Ava Wright listened to these words and suddenly her eyes turned red. She bit her lip, her eyes welling with tears, as if she had suffered a great grievance.

Anyone who didn't know would have thought she was the one being mistreated.

Immediately, someone spoke up for Ava Wright.

"You from Class Three, don't speak recklessly, it sounds as if Ava mistreated her. The whole school knows how well Ava treats this sister."

"Besides, who even knows if the abuse is true or not? Those orphans without anyone always have problems with food and clothing. The Wright family provided for her, even sent her to the same school as Ava, is that kind of generosity really abuse?"

"I think it's just human greed; she's an ungrateful adopted wolf, wants to compare everything to Ava, and when she can't, she accuses the Wright family of abuse."

"There must be something wrong with her character, otherwise why would she be expelled."

Ava Wright, being beautiful and always at the top of her class, also being the daughter of the Wright family in Riverwood City, has quite a few supporters at Elegant Art, always surrounded by many girls.

Ava Wright said, feeling wronged yet gentle: "Don't speak about Amelia that way, the matters in our home are really just misunderstandings."

Seeing Ava Wright still defending Amelia, the disdain around Amelia grew even louder.

"Ava, stop defending her, she's already severed her adoption ties with your family!"

"Yeah, Ava, you're top of your grade, she's been following you every day, and still managed to get expelled. What right does she have to be your sister?"

Ava Wright seemed at a loss for words, gave Amelia an apologetic glance, and lowered her head in silence.

As if saying it's not that she doesn't defend Amelia, but Amelia is just too bad.

She waited for Amelia to feel ashamed, to feel flustered and helpless.

However, Amelia listened to these taunts, just expressionless.

The once timid her was very afraid of such group attacks, now only finds them too noisy.

Amelia just looked at Director Walker, calmly asked: "Director Walker, I didn't make any mistakes, Mrs. Wright unilaterally expelled me, are you sure you want to handle this privately, and have me sign to leave?"

Sophia felt disdain in her heart, with a face full of earnestness said: "Amelia, you were expelled due to poor conduct, inherently untalented, and without motivation to progress. If finding such an excuse gives you more dignity to leave, then consider it my unilateral decision."

Amelia was indeed anonymous at Elegant Art.

No one paid attention to her grades.

The only impression people had of her was that she was Ava Wright's sister and for some jokes involving her affection for Marsh.

Compared to the school teacher Director Walker, everyone naturally chose to believe in Director Walker.

Only Emma Lewis, still leaning against the door, had a mocking look in her eyes; she had seen Amelia's work, and if that was called untalented, then she could consider herself an utter fool.

As for character issues, a little fool who won't even resist when bullied, how could she have any problems?

Amelia listened to Sophia's words, just let out a cold laugh.

Everyone was wondering how Amelia would argue.

After all, getting into Elegant Art wasn't easy, and no one would want to leave easily, especially being expelled.

However, whether Amelia was acknowledging or too disdainful to explain to Director Walker's words, she just picked up a pen and signed directly.

"Amelia Wright," two beautiful characters appeared on the paper.

She looked up at Sophia and said coolly, "Director Walker, I hope you won't regret this later."
