Rachel Bow leisurely took out a makeup mirror from her bag, checked her makeup, and tidied her hair. Her composed demeanor sharply contrasted with Mia Burton's exasperation.
"I just want to remind some people not to be too confident in themselves, thinking that all the good things in the world will fall upon them. Be careful, the higher you climb, the harder you fall."
Mia Burton just thought she was jealous of her being able to sign with a brokerage firm after her first performance and quickly being chosen to participate in a talent show.
She sneered coldly, "Sour grapes, when you can't get them, you say they're sour. That's what people like you do, right? You can't make it yourself, so you always look down on others."
