"Miss Von, your clothes look really nice."
"Do they look nice?" Jennifer Von couldn't stop smiling at the compliment, "I think so too. Ava bought it for me. She bought a whole bunch, actually."
"A whole bunch?" Amy was a bit stunned.
She remembered those qipaos were really expensive. Last time Ava bought her one, she couldn't help feeling uneasy.
The little girl is still a student, spending so much on gifts must've cost a lot of her living expenses, and Amy was worried Jennifer might scold her.
But now Jennifer said Ava bought her a lot of qipaos?
"Of course, just this morning. I kept saying no, but she insisted on buying them.
Not only did she buy them, but she also had the store customize a few sets for me... Oh, she really has a child's nature, spending so lavishly."
Knowing Jennifer was saying one thing and meaning another, Amy held back her laughter, "Ava cares about you, she's filial, that's a blessing. Where else can you find such an understanding daughter?"
