The saying goes that the person who understands you the best must be your enemy.
Lucas White and Ian Roan have been competing overtly and covertly for so many years that they understand each other well.
"If they don't bring out high-valued known stones, then they surely won't wait until the last day."
Known stones can be quickly judged on their value; someone might take a risk and snatch them in the end.
But if it's a high-risk raw stone, there's not much time left on the last day for everyone to analyze and research it. Buyers aren't fools; who'd ignore ready-known stones and risk on something uncertain?
Ava Kent agreed with his viewpoint and continued looking at other stones.
So busy that half a day has passed.
Finally, they focused on a few selected stones.
"Do vendors intentionally raise prices by finding people to inflate bids to increase their product's transaction amount?" Ava suddenly asked.
Lucas was taken aback: "Why ask such a question?"
"Just curious."
