The hand around her shoulder subconsciously tightened a bit.
Ava Kent didn't pay much attention, assuming he was unsteady because his legs were weak, so he leaned most of his weight on her.
"Lying down all day has made my bones feel weak. I want to sit here for a while," Julius Goodman pointed to the sofa she had just been sitting on.
Ava Kent had no choice but to help him over to the sofa.
"The doctor said the medication you had before was quite strong. They suggest staying hospitalized here for a night of observation. If the effects haven't completely worn off by tomorrow, you'll need another IV drip."
"Alright." Julius Goodman didn't have any objections.
Ava Kent took a towel for him, "Dry your hair yourself. I'll go wash the clothes you changed out of."
"No... it's not necessary..."
"What if you don't wash and dry them, and you get discharged tomorrow?"
