"Kane, she's not my girlfriend." Julius explained, then went to splash some cold water on his face to wake himself up.
There weren't many customers in the morning, and Kane Sears, while organizing his design drafts, came over and said, "She's really not your girlfriend?"
Though Julius' mind was a bit fuzzy at the moment, he could sense something off in Kane's tone, so he glanced at him warily and asked back, "What's up?"
