Outside the ruined IISO Tokyo Branch, Seitenshi stood alone beneath the morning sky.
The enormous reinforced gate lay twisted upon the ground behind her. Sword marks covered the walls, while several sections of the facility had collapsed during the previous day's battle.
Seitenshi silently examined the destruction.
It was difficult to believe that everything before her had been caused by a ten-year-old boy. But the surveillance footage could not be denied.
Hearing footsteps from within the ruined building, Seitenshi raised her head.
A moment later, Xiao Feng emerged through the shattered entrance.
His long black hair remained untied, falling behind him like a dark waterfall. His spotless white robes moved gently in the morning wind, while Kurogiri hung quietly from his waist.
A golden lotus-shaped mark rested between his eyebrows, and his mysterious eyes resembled a distant starry sky.
Seitenshi stared at him with unconcealed surprise.
The surveillance footage had shown an indifferent figure walking through gunfire and slaughtering armed personnel without hesitation.
However, the boy before her looked quite cute. No matter how Seitenshi looked at him, it was difficult to connect this cute young boy with the cold executioner shown in the recording.
But, the ruined facility behind him proved that they were undoubtedly the same person.
While Seitenshi observed him, Xiao Feng also examined he
Seitenshi possessed pale skin, delicate features, and beautiful white hair. Her ceremonial white dress was decorated with elegant patterns and ribbons, giving her an unusually pure and dignified appearance.
Combined with her gentle temperament, she truly resembled a saint who had descended from the heavens.
Xiao Feng stared at her for several seconds.
Seitenshi initially thought he was examining her for hidden weapons. However, when he continued looking at her face, she became slightly uncomfortable.
She lightly cleared her throat, "Is something wrong?"
Xiao Feng returned to his senses.
"No, you're simply much prettier than I expected."
Seitenshi was stunned then a faint redness appeared upon her cheeks. But quickly calmed down.
"Thank you, you're also not what I expected. You look much cuter up close."
It was now Xiao Feng's turn to be surprised.
He didn't expect Seitenshi to be able to remain calm in front knowing how dangerous how he was.
"Thank you. You're also not what I expected. You look much cuter up close."
It was now Xiao Feng's turn to be surprised.
He didn't expect Seitenshi to remain so calm in front of him after knowing how dangerous he was.
Seitenshi then placed one hand lightly against her chest.
"I should introduce myself first. I am Seitenshi, the ruler of the Tokyo Area. May I know your name?"
"My name is Xiao Feng. You can call me Xiao Feng or simply Feng."
"Xiao Feng…"
Seitenshi quietly repeated his name. The pronunciation sounded similar to the names she had encountered in records from China.
"Are you from China?" She asked curiously.
"No." Xiao Feng shook his head.
Hearing the words, Seitenshi was slightly surprised, "But your name sounds Chinese."
"I know, but I'm not from China." Xiao Feng answered calmly. "My homeland is somewhere very far away."
He had no intention of explaining either his past life identity from India or this life's identity from Dou Qi Continent or his arrival in this world during their first meeting.
Seitenshi noticed that he did not wish to explain further and wisely chose not to press him.
"I see. Then it is nice to meet you, Feng-kun."
"Nice to meet you too Miss Seitenshi, but aren't you worried about coming here alone?" Xiao Feng said leisurely looking at the holy girl.
When he watched the anime, he quite liked Seitenshi. She was kind, sincere, and one of the few influential people who genuinely wished to improve the lives of the Cursed Children.
Although aahe was sometimes too gentle when dealing with the corrupt officials around her, Xiao Feng had never disliked her for it.
"It would be a lie to say I am not worried. But I believe in my judgement. You're not a person at heart." Seitenshi shook her head and said calmly.
Before, she might have been slightly worried but now she wasn't so worried anymore.
Judging from their conversation, Xiao Feng wasn't a ruthless person who killed without batting and eye. Coupled with the fact, he had saved Cursed Children, she had a high opinion of him.
"Haha, a good person!!" Xiao Feng chuckled lightly.
He didn't expected to be called a good person after killing so many people.
"This isn't a place to talk, shall we go somewhere else!"
Seitenshi pointed towards a black car which had used to drive here.
"No need. If you want to change the venue, I have a better method."
Seitenshi looked at him curiously. Before she could ask what he meant, powerful Dou Qi surged from Xiao Feng's body.
Golden light gathered behind his back before spreading outward. In only a few breaths, it transformed into a pair of enormous translucent wings.
The wings resembled those of a mythical bird. Faint golden flames flowed across every feather, yet Seitenshi felt no heat from them. She stared at them with undisguised wonder.
Although the surveillance footage had shown Xiao Feng using several incomprehensible abilities, seeing something so supernatural appear directly before her was entirely different.
The next moment, Seitenshi felt her feet leave the ground.
Before she could react, Xiao Feng placed one arm behind her back and the other beneath her knees, lifting her into a princess carry then the enormous golden wings behind him spread outward and flapped down, lifting them in the sky.
"Eh?"
Seitenshi instinctively wrapped her arms around his neck.
Despite being only ten years old, Xiao Feng held her effortlessly. His expression remained completely calm, as though carrying her weight required no strength at all.
This, this, this....
I, I, I,....
Seitenshi looked down at herself and then at him, a faint redness appearing upon her cheeks and her mind fell into a Chaos.
in all her life, no one of opposite sex had ever even hugged her except her family, much less carry her in a princess carry.
For a moment, she even forgot they were flying.
The ground had already fallen far beneath them, but her attention remained fixed upon the fact that she was being carried by a ten-year-old boy.
Eventually, a cold gust of wind struck her face and brought her back to reality.
Seitenshi cautiously looked down.
The ruined IISO branch had already become a small shape below them. Buildings, roads, and abandoned districts stretched outward in every direction, while the enormous Monoliths rose above the Tokyo Area like black mountains.
Feeling the cold wind hitting her face, Seitenshi murmured in shock.
"This... We are flying!"
Xiao Feng looked at her and he was very satisfied with her reaction. Seitenshi was truly very cute.
He replied with a smile, "Yes, we are flying."
Seitenshi looked down again.
The buildings beneath them had already become much smaller, while the streets looked like thin lines spreading throughout the Tokyo Area.
Although she was surprised, she didn't shout or lose her composure.
She was the ruler of the Tokyo Area. Even if she was still young, she had already experienced many dangerous situations.
However, this was her first time flying in the sky, so the curiosity in her eyes couldn't be hidden.
"So this is one of your abilities?" Seitenshi asked.
"You can consider it that way."
Xiao Feng nodded and continued flying forward while holding her steadily. The golden wings behind him flapped occasionally, causing their speed to increase.
Seitenshi glanced at the wings then looked at the city below.
"It looks very different from here."
"Do you like it?"
Seitenshi nodded slightly, "It is very beautiful."
Since becoming the ruler of the Tokyo Area, she rarely had the opportunity to leave the government headquarters without being surrounded by guards.
Even when she went outside, she usually travelled inside a heavily protected vehicle.
Looking at the entire Tokyo Area from the sky was a completely new experience for her.
After flying for a while, Seitenshi gradually became accustomed to being in the air.
Her arms were still wrapped around Xiao Feng's neck, but her body was no longer stiff.
"Where are you taking me Feng-kun?"
"Somewhere no one will disturb us."
Xiao Feng changed direction and flew toward one of the nearby Monoliths.
Looking at the enormous black structure before them, Seitenshi quickly understood his intention.
"You want to talk on top of the Monolith?"
"Yes."
"Is it safe?"
"As long as you don't fall down."
Seitenshi stared at him silently.
Looking at her eyes, Xiao Feng laughed, "I was joking. I won't let you fall."
