A few moments before the barrier was broken...
The Netherworld Invaders pressed closer to the Trial Ground. Their numbers showed no sign of thinning.
Cracks had already begun spreading across the barrier that held them back.
The cracks grew wider with each passing second, spiderwebbing outward across the surface of the barrier.
Arthur could hear the barrier groan under the pressure from outside.
Just before the barrier gave way, Arthur received a message from the Four Guardian Spirits of the Martial Emperor Secret Realm.
The message arrived directly in his mind, sharp and sudden. It cut through everything else around him in an instant.
He had time to react before it took hold of him but he resisted the urge of using the soul gem to stop it.
Next, his body went still where he stood, frozen mid breath.
Immediately after, his consciousness was pulled into a certain space. The pull happened in an instant.
