Krono inclined his head in a measured bow. "Yes, Your Majesty."
King Thalrion's eyes narrowed slightly, the faintest crease forming between his brows. His expression wasn't anger nor was it welcoming. Rather, it was heavy as if the weight of unexpected news had settled on him before he could be ready for it.
Slowly, he leaned back on the table, fingers tapping lightly against the table while his gaze studied Krono and Eccar in silence.
The chamber felt colder for a moment. The quiet stretching is tight.
At last, his voice came. "I will be honest. I cannot claim to understand much of what you speak… for I have never go to another world myself."
A brief, almost wistful smile flickered over his face before it vanished behind his regal composure. "Tell me, then, what is it you seek here?"
