Broly stomps seemed to have finished Vegeta but a sudden burst of energy exploded sending Broly flipping into the air. As he was his flipping Vegeta quickly hit Broly with a powerful punch to the stomach. Then he grabbed Broly into the ground and instantly followed it up with a series of punches dealing real damage to Broly. Everyone in the crowd was appalled at how strong Vegeta had gotten. All except Goku he just sat there with a grind on his face as if he expected nothing less from Vegeta.
Vegeta punches were to fast and hard for Broly's body to react. Broly let out a loud roar the a huge energy blast came out his mouth. Vegeta was able to put his guard up but it gave Broly enough time and space to recover. He jumped up and put his huge hand over Vegeta's face and slammed him into the barrier and quickly let off a powerful energy blast. the entire crowd gasped for they thought the fight was over but suddenly out of smoke from the explosion everyone heard Vegeta yell out FINAL FLASH.
The attack sent Broly flying back then fall hard on the ground. Broly was barley moving as the crowd was on its feet shocked at how strong Vegeta has gotten. Broly was all but finished but somehow he managed to get back to his feet.
"You know what your problem Broly? You weren't raised around saiyans so you know nothing about saiyan pride. If you had any idea what it means to be saiyan then you wouldn't have fallen so easily. 2 years ago you was the strongest saiyan i have ever seen. Your pride shouldn't let anyone surpass you. Take this as your first lesson in saiyan pride. Next lesson is I Vegeta is the prince all saiyans and there is no one that had more pride than me. Now accept your defeat and watch me as I win this tournament. Then the mighty Vegeta will bring a god to his knees."
Vegeta charged up his energy and sphere of energy around him. all the z fighters knew what was coming. it's the attack his used to sacrifice himself against Buu and Toppo. But this time it's different Vegeta was to send the sphere right at Broly causing a massive explosion shaking the whole arena. Broly was left laying motionless in a crater created by attack. He was unable to continue the fight. Vegeta was victorious and the legendary sayian.
"This match is over and Vegeta will advance to the next round. We would like to inform you all that Grand Xeno is very pleased with the tournament so far and we hope you can keep up this level of excitement. The next fight will be Nappa vs Tarble. Fighters do what you must and enter the ring in 15 minutes."
"whoa! This tournament is amazing and we're just getting started. Now we get to see Vegeta's little brother in action. i wonder does he fight like Vegeta or does he have his own style. i think im just excited to watch this tournament as i am to fight in it."
"Let's not get to excited Goku. we all know you can get overly excited and try to jump the gun and fight early. we wouldn't want to piss off the Xenos now would we?" "Don't worry guys i wouldn't dare ruin such an amazing tournament. I'm just excited is all!"
Tarble and Nappa made their way to the grand priest where he transported them inside barricaded ring. Nappa smiling thinking about all the times he abused Tarble back on planet Vegeta. And Tarble was smiling because this is his chance to get his revenge and show Vegeta how strong he really is. 2 proud saiyans with something to prove ready to get there hands on each other!
