"My company has some matters to attend to, so I need to head over," Sebastian Astor gazed at her with slightly clouded eyes, clearly seeing his own reflection in her pupils, and as he spoke, his thin lips unintentionally brushed over hers.
It was ticklish, tingling, as if a current of electricity had passed through her body.
"Hmm."
Clara Sutton nodded calmly, though her heart couldn't help but race. Feeling the intense hormonal atmosphere exuding from him, she found it hard to maintain eye contact with his beast-like gaze.
As she turned her head slightly aside, his hand grasped her chin, forcing her to look back. His deep, husky voice slowly beckoned in her ear, "What are you dodging?"
"Aren't you going to the company? Aren't you leaving?" Clara tried to stay composed, but her disordered breathing had long betrayed her.
"There's no rush."
Sebastian narrowed his eyes slightly and kissed her again, causing Clara's heart to flutter as her hand slowly caressed his lapel.
